Chapter 17

Brielles pov
It's been 2 weeks since I've last heard from Vinnie. And I have to admit it hurts so much. I've been with avani and Larri to try and cheer me up but nothing has changed. I got invited to charlis birthday party so I was of course going because avani was forcing me. Larri is out of town right now so he can't come with us.

I decided to scroll on tik tok and a video of Vinnie popped up. Safe to say he's been on his phone so it's not like he's not active. I decided to scroll through the comments and half of them are mentioning me. "Where is Brielle????" "did you guys break up??" "you guys are finally over its turn❤️" "you were to good for her anyways"

I seen one that actually hurt. I decided to just stop scrolling because it was doing more damage then good. I looked at the time because it was already late and I needed to get ready. I took a shower and started to do my makeup. It was a simple but pretty look. This was the first time I was actually getting ready I've been posting drafts or old pictures for 2 weeks. Anyways I started to do my hair. All I did was pin it back and lightly curled the front pieces I left out.

I put the black dress I put out earlier and the black heels on. I waited for Avani to come and we called a Uber because we were probably going to drink. She started to take pictures of me because apparently to her I looked 'good'. So of course I started posing because I had to post recent pictures.

We finally got to the party. We went to go say happy birthday to charli and after We seen a couple of our friends so we went to say hi. Avani seen Anthony so we went up to him. "Hi babe" Avani said and kissed him. "Hey Brielle just a heads up Vinnie is here." I felt my heart drop at the mention of his name. I know when I first found out about him and that girl I planned how to find out how it happened and shit but that didn't work and as days went by I felt more sad and betrayed. "Thanks for letting me know."

I walked away and went towards the drinks. I started to pour my drink and went to add juice to the cup. "Don't close the alcohol please" I heard from behind me and oh did that voice sound familiar. I turned around and found the one and only Vincent hacker. "Oh uh hey" he smiled awkwardly at me. "Hi." I said walking away "wait no Brielle wait we have to talk" he said grabbing my arm hard and pulled me towards him. I bumped into his chest. "Honestly what is there to talk about?" "Uh everything"

"There's a lot of people here Vincent" "ok let's talk in my car then we have to talk at some point and right now seems perfect" "fine let's get this over with" he pulled my hand and we started walking towards the door. As we arrived to his car I said "if you so happen yell at me I'm done with everything" "fine"

I sat in the passenger seat and we just stared at each other. "Start with everything from the beginning hacker" "ok so before I went to Seattle I met everly. She had dmed me saying that she lives in Seattle and next time I was there she said that we should collaborate. I said yes so that's how we started to hang out when u was there." He took a deep breath and continued. "So we went to this place where you take pictures-" "you never took me to one of those before" I said bitterly. "Will you let me continue?"

"So when we were the there we of course took pictures. She didn't post them but she posted the ones I took of her. What she did post was the pictures in the car. It looks bad because our faces were pretty close but it wasn't like that. At first" he said in a whisper I almost didn't catch it but I did. All I felt was a pang. "What do you mean at first?" I said with hurt in my voice.

"Well we went to the music studio because she wanted to record a song, so I was just sitting in the chair taking pictures. She joined in and got a little to close to me and kissed my cheeks. We also went out to eat for dinner. It was really friendly up until we were leaving. I was holding the door for her as she walked out and then she just went to hug my out nowhere. I hugged back not knowing what to do, then everly just raked her hand down my chest. I told her to stop and she didn't. She put her arms around my neck."

"Hold on just stop for like 2 seconds." It was all to much for me. I felt so many emotions right now. "Alright go" I took a deep breath as he continued. "Well she had her arms around me and we were just standing there in the middle of the sidewalk staring into each other's eyes. Then- then out of nowhere she just started to.." he takes a deep breath. I knew what was coming so I prepared for it. "She started to brush her lips over mine. In this moment I was shocked so I didn't even attempt to stop it."

"Then she went out her all into the kiss as if she was waiting for it. It's like I completely forgot about you. I started to kiss her back. Just like that I folded and started to kiss her back."

My eyes started to water and I was trying to stop myself from crying in front of him because of him. "If you can just 'completely' forget about me as soon as someone kisses you I don't think this.." I said pointing at us "is going to work out." "What? No Brielle I promise that's all that happened we made out but as soon as I came back to reality I stopped it. I didn't see her after that. I couldn't. Please you have to believe me"

" I just have one question Vinnie" "what?" "Were the feelings you felt towards me genuine? Like actually." "Yes they were of course they were."  "If they were you wouldn't have just forgotten about me just like that." I said as a tears escaped my eyes. I quickly wiped them away. "I- Im sorry Brielle" "yeah..." "please don't give up on me, on us" "I don't want to but you already did. I'm sorry but I'm done I can't do this" "Brielle. Please." I walked out of his car and started to call an Uber.
