flames rose into the night as if they challenge the heavens to stop their consumption of what was our home and place of sanctuary.Fire comes as a golden ball, igniting the night, outshining the stars. Yet fire was impatient and the heavens breathe eons and moments as if they were one. It was simply a sight of horror.
"mom, dad, sensai" she panted her lungs out. running through those dark paths that were once all shiny due to the bushes surrounding them. a trail of tear ran down to her cheeks, getting whipped off by her as the second drop made it way. then the third then the forth, until she was a sobbing mess.
"I am coming. I'll save you all. I'll have
to. "her eyes snapped open , she was covered in sweat, shaking, heart pounding, looking around the room suspicious and paranoid that the horror may have followed her here. she tried to calm herself down, whipping off the sweat from her forehead. the room was rather silent, when her high heart beat as the only audible sound.
outside, the sun shines bright through the window. the dim sunlight invading through the curtains, washing away the vestiges of the horror, leaving the girl relieved to return to her mundane existence.
"not a fucking nightmare again. "
eyes shut close, her face facing the ceiling as the cold breeze hits her face making her heart beat eventually calm down. it wasn't the first time she had experiences this. it happens frequently with her. the weird nightmares. the past she can never forget. the past she never wants to forget.
"(y/n) " the familiar voice echoed through the home making her jump out of the fear. however, that wasn't due to the nightmare she just experienced. she knew she was doomed if the door will open and the person who called for her would see her in the current condition she is in.
the day was supposed to be her very first day of the high school and the alarm clock besides her already read 7:39. no doubt she's late. (y/n) threw the sheets away, cursing the alarm clock on why didn't it awake her. the alarm clock probably cursing her back as she never set the alarm in the first place.
nevertheless, the sheets were threw on the ground. the curtains were now wide open, probably half opened. her manga that were once sleeping with her due to her late night reading them were now kept back in their place, or were rather thrown in their places.
"(y/n), you have ten seconds and I'm coming in" the voice that is her comfort , now had a touch of warning in it.
"what a bother in the morning" (y/n) whispered to herself as a ray of light purple color was formed across her finger. she closed one of her eye and aimed directly towards the door's knob. the ray traveled all the way towards the knob and got absorbed there.
"(y/n) how many times have I told you not to use your quirk at the home.!! " the voice now had a touch of anger in it. the door was bangged quite a few times. however, the person behind the door was fully aware that the power ray, (y/n) had just used, no matter how hard he would try, opening the door would be impossible.
"breakfast in five. if you didn't came by that I'll eat it all alone. "
(y/n) grunted and paced her speed up. however, the very next moment she chuckled and a light green ray of light formed across her finger.
within the very next second, (y/n) was already present at the breakfast table with her new school uniform and the fully well packed bag pack. before the person could have even reached the breakfast table. the man in his late thirties sighed at the girl's recklessness.
