Embry lounged in the living room of their apartment like dorm. It was six o'clock on a week night. Embry was washed and cozy in her underclothes as she texted Stacey. Stacey is the light skinned handsome guy from her class. Justin was playing games again but this time Stacey was picking up his slack. Sometimes she blew Justin's phone up with no response. She knew he was with the girl who interfered their relationship last time. He'd tell Embry he was handling business which was true but she had that gut feeling that she wasn't his only. Due to them arguing he hadn't visited her in a while. Stacey ended up asking her on a date and Brielle encouraged her. She was tired of seeing her friend in a spiral over Justin and wanted to see her happy. Stacey took her on a fun date and Embry actually had a good time. He was quite the  gentleman and didn't rush anything. He gave her that good feeling she missed. They've been getting aquatinted since.

Jason had woke up to his phone buzzing. "Yeah." He answered without looking at the contact. "What's up boss." Carlos said. Jason recognized his Spanish accent. "Ready for that?" Jason asked. He was referring to the drop he was about to make. "You already know." Carlos responded. "Bet. there in thirty." Jason said hanging up. He's one of Jason's workers that he considered a brother. Carlos's only family is his mother and little sister. He's sixteen but he has slot of sense. He watched his mom struggle with bills and hated it. He heard about Jason some years ago and finally met him on the block. He put Jason on point about what was going on on his block and that helped Jason. Chase eventually ended up gaining his trust so he allowed him to work under him. Jason gave him product to sell and he kept a cut out of it. He was having now and his mom and little sister were set. Chase looked at Jason as a mentor but Jason wasn't feeling it. He wasn't his dad to play that role. Jason wanted to do the right things but the streets had him caught up and he didn't know how to mentor anyone being he doesn't have a father himself. They grew as close homeboys overtime and have been cool ever since.

Jason got up and stretched and his phone went off again. "Link?" And unsaved number texted. He didn't know who it was but he was sure it was one of his side pieces. He blocked the number and texted Brielle. He flushed his bladder and went downstairs. He went looking for his mom but she wasn't there. He figured she was  at work. He fixed a sandwich and washed it down with a bottle of water. He thought about Brielle pressing him about drinking water and grinned. He locked the house and headed out the door.

He was going to meet some guys from the other side of town. Jason stopped serving over there because the police got a whiff of his name around that area. They caught him one night but thankfully he wasn't serving. He was leaving his homeboy's spot. When the police pulled him over and got his license his eyes lit up at the name Jason. Somehow word got around that a gangster with the name starting with J in a truck ran the streets and they've been lurking around for his truck. It's a small world. Jason had a thuggish look so the police profiled him as the suspect. He demanded to search Jason's car but couldn't without a warrant. He grew angry that Jason knew his rights. "I'll get you soon." The officer winked at him as he pulled off. Jason had realized he stopped him for nothing but ever since then he's laid low on this side of town.

Some new guys around his age took over the area. They heard about Jason and wanted to make a deal with him. They needed a new plug so they negotiated to pay him money for his product and work on teaming together in a way to get the connect. They knew Jason would come with his guard up because he's known around the streets. They knew not to try anything yet because they knew he'd be protected. Jason went to this meeting with his security driver and another body guard. He toted a gat on each side of his hip. The meeting went smooth and bloodless. "We'll wait until tonight to make our move." The guys from the other side said as Jason left. His shooters that were lurking came out and out their guns down. "Enjoy your past few hours." He laughed referring to a Jason as he sparked a black and mild.

Jason left glad that they didn't try anything funny. He got the impression that they weren't shiesty and didn't want war. He smoothly drove to the trap and greeted everyone. Half naked and some naked girls walked around. Some guys played cards with beer as some were bagging cocaine weed and counting money. Jason walked around eyeing his trap. "Aue don't get too comfortable." He said to the guys having fun. "It's cool to chill but not everyday and only at the right times. We gotta keep our guard up." He ordered. His workers nodded. He sat down waiting to play the next game of spades. "Where's Justin?" He asked noticing he was missing. Carlos walked up dapping him. "Shit I don't know bro he was here earlier." He said sitting beside him pulling a cigar out.

Jason shook his head and phoned Justin. "Yurrr." He said as the call connected. "You good bro?" Jason asked. "Yeah bro." He said sounding as if he was struggling. Jason shook his head. "Where you at then we gotta ride in a minute." He said. "Call me." Justin said sounding weird. He heard noises in the background before Justin hung up. He shook his head. He knew he was caught up with ole girl. "Man that nigga tripping." Jason said shuffling his deck of cards. Justin was his right hand guy when it came to handling this type of business. "I got you bro." Carlos said handing him the blunt. Jason looked as if he wasn't sure as Carlos gave him a sure look.

Carlos had blasted a few niggas for Jason and before him. They had gotten in a shootout together but Jason didn't kill anyone. Drugs and money caused greed and some of Jason's guys envied him to
The point of hatred. Drama popped off one night as he found out one of his worker betrayed him. They were out in public and the guys started shooting at Jason. Jason got hit in the shoulder and quickly ducked shooting the guy in the upper arm. Carlos was quicker and aimed for his neck and the other guy's head watching them drop like flies. It was in the news but no one never told. They weren't suspects being it was dark so they got away clean with no proof of that dirty work. Jason got an undercover doctor to aid his wound at the trap. The bullet was removed and stitched up. He figured Carlos would handle his because he rode for him like a real brother. "I usually don't  get another worker to accompany me with this type of business but you got it bro." Jason said exhaling the weed smoke. They shook hands. He had trust in Carlos beside this was his chance to prove his self to a higher position to give demands and handle more drugs.
