Just Listen (Poem)

Just listen to me.

I never meant to push you away.

I was scared to push you away.

How could this hurt so much.

Why does this hurt so much.

Everyone tells me.

"You are better off without him"

But am I really?

Am I better off without you?

No.

My life is worse without you.

My heart hurts.

I just want to stay with you.

Like the first day we met.

You picked me.

I picked you.

It should have worked out.

It didn't, we both screwed up.

Mine was, not telling you.

Telling you that i loved you.

Telling you that i wanted to be with you.

Even though one thing happened.

I forgave you.

When everyone else didn't....
