CHAPTER ONE

" Good morning stupid" says Mellisa "what time is it?" "12:00" "in the morning?" "Yeah 12:00 in the morning and I am dressed up eating cereal,with makeup on and with my hair fixed" well she has a point there "so wait lemme get this straight it's 12noon and I am at home why the hell didn't you wake me up I'm late to work" I groan obviously annoyed. Mellisa has been my best friend since we were twelve and now we are 29 I'm turning 30 next month and she is turning 30 next year she is currently staying with me because her house got burnt down due to her carelessness so for now she is working from my home because she sustained a burn on her leg and she is a fashion designer. We wanted to do the fashion work together but when we were sixteen we went to work at a pizza place near my house and we blew it up so we decided that if we wanted money and a future we better get our own jobs so now I'm a reporter and she's a fashion designer.

"Stupid I called and told them that you are not feeling too well so you will take a half day off" "oh oh oh thank you" "now go shower you reek of alcohol" I laugh walking towards the shower
After I showered I put on a black straight skirt and a white tank top with a black suit jacket and a long nude jacket it is ending of November and the winter breeze is strong this period. "Hey I will be going to work now okay love" "yeah what ever" "my people and I are having a team dinner today so don't wait for me okay". I call leaving the house I hop into my red Toyota Runner and head to work. On my way to work I call my special detective Josh "what I'm a busy man don't just call me anyhow you know that right" "yeah right"I scoff "do you have any information on anything" "you know I feel your my friend because of information" "of course you don't have anything to offer aside that" I say laughing "I see how it is well whatever I'm busy so just" he becomes silent for a while and I know he is going to look for something for me "okay I got something for you" he says "ohhhh what" I ask obviously excited "Diana James case is closed not as suicide but as murder with all our investigation we got to know that the murderer is Delvin Derdrigo from Derdrigos family that conglomerate family" a gasp escape my mouth as I park my car "I hope no other reporter know of this" "no madam" "good son wait why did he kill her?" "I taught you were never going to ask" "no need to be sarcastic" I say rolling my eyes "he killed her because he was angry that she was getting married to his best friend and he liked her first so he killed her so that none of them will get her" "ahhhhhh humans are animals thanks dog later" I quickly hang up so that he won't reply I do love getting on his nerves I laugh congratulating myself
