We all arrived at the Burrow, all feeling guilty. There was a long silence until Harry broke it. "Doesn't matter anymore" he muttered and there he went upstairs, hands deep in his pockets. I separated from Ron, to just sit down and think for a moment. Ginny ran straight upstairs, up to her room, probably to cry. It wasn't her fault Astoria tried to kill her though. Well, she is a murderous, raging lunatic. (AYEEE) Still, it wasn't Ginny's fault, so she had to protect herself. Ron plunked down on the armchair opposite me. "That was unexpected wasn' it" he said smiling a bit. I gave him a stern look. "Imagine how your sister should be feeling. Don't be so giddy, Ron" I said slapping him on the arm, harder than I should've. "Ow!" He gasped. "Sorry. It doesn't hurt that much does it?" Ron shook his head. I started to read The Tales of Beedle the Bard. The Minister gave the copy to me two years ago. It was a rough and dark time back then. It still is now but obviously not as much since Voldemort is gone. Nearly all the Death Eaters are gone now. They'll all soon be wiped out and chucked into Azkaban. Once the Ministry knows about the ones wandering around. We're not going to report what happened. Let them figure out themselves. We're not going to tell the Ministry about the incident. All of us knew that. It's the sensible thing to do right? Right. I'm lying. I haven't been reading. I've been thinking. If I was just staring at the ground when nothing's wrong, Ron'll probably think I've gone mad and turned into Trelawney, staring into space. What a load of rubbish she talked about. Absolute garbage. "You alrigh' Mione?" asked Ron. I was staring at the ground. Wow well done Hermione. "Yeah" I said a bit too quickly and a bit too squeakily. Ron jumped a little at the sound of my voice. I could hear sobbing at mumbled voices coming from upstairs. There's no doubt Ron couldn't hear it. "Reckon Harry's up there with Ginny trying to cheer he-" Ron sneaked up behind me, pulled my jumper, I fell to the ground but he caught me with his hand. He pulled me up, span me around to face him and we started to dance. My hand on his shoulder. His hand on my waist and both our other hands, well, holding hands. "For Merlin's sake Ron. What are you doing?" I asked with a confused smile. I lost it. I jumped on him and kissed him, probably with full force. We almost fell over but luckily Ron isn't weak. He held my waist and I was holding on to his neck. We broke apart, both breathing heavily. Ron chuckled. "We haven't done that in a while" he said smirking. I gave him a grin. "Especially with all that's going on" I said now laughing. I had to lean against Ron to stop me from toppling over with my laugh. Even with him against me I kept losing my balance. He was laughing with me. No idea as to what but it was funny. I look up to him. "Ron?" I asked, him now gazing down at me. "Ye?" I stand up properly with a slight smile. "Why're we down hear laughing our heads off when Gin and Harry are upstairs crying?" I asked, laughing and also feeling bad for leaving the two up there. He started to laugh even louder. After a few seconds he gained his breath. "Because we're us." Ron had a bright smile and so did I. To be honest, I can now say that both Ron and I had a slightly better day than Harry and Ginny.
