Clovis woke in his room to a screaming coming from the other side of his door. He sighed and slowly got up and brushed off his elegant suit and made his way to the door. He opened the dark oak door and walked through to find his two little sisters still in their nightgowns chasing each other. Clovis slowly walked to the center of the room and waited for when the two girls would pass him. After a few moments the two girls rushed past Clovis but got hung up on something, Clovis had grabbed the two by the back of their collars "Now, what have I told you two about running about like this" Clovis said, his voice cold and slow. The two girls seemed to pout at their brother's precision. You see, they had infact not really been chasing each other, but infact trying to bait Clovis out of his room. A few years ago when this first happened, Clovis had caught the two with ease, and ever since the two sisters had tried to avoid being caught by their older brother.
The three made their way down the massive staircase that connected the top and bottom floors of the castle which they called home. A man in a suit not quite as Clovis' stood at the end of the staircase, he was an older gentleman with deep brown eyes and silky gray hair "Hello Roman" Clovis said to the man "Goodmorning sir, is there anything i can assist you with" Roman said in a soft voice "No, I dont think that'll be necessary, is there any word from Father?" Clovis asked "Yes sir, your parents shall be arriving today, or so the letter said" Roman said, pulling out an envelope that was tucked inside of his suit jacket. "Excellent, then we shall prepare a feast unlike the world has ever seen, tell the chiefs to start preparing it immediately" Clovis said in an overjoyed tone "Very well sir, is there anything in particular that is required for said feast" Roman questioned "Turkey, I think, what do you two think?" Clovis asked turning to his two little sisters, the two nodded vigorously "Very well then, make it turkey" Clovis stated.
The four walked into the dining room, the two children sat at the long spruce table while Clovis and Roman went into the kitchen "Roman, can you do something for me?" Clovis asked "Of course sir, what is it that needs to be done?" Roman replied "Take some time off for me, alright? You're overworking yourself, Im worried for you" Clovis said in a concerned tone "Sir, I made a promise to your parents to keep you and your sisters safe, and I won't fail them, even if it kills me" Roman stated "We'll be fine Roman, Mother and Father will be home soon, and I want you to take care of yourself, and that's an order" Clovis persisted "Very well, but only because I have too" Roman said turning to the chiefs to tell them about the feast that needed to be prepared.
