Part 5: lucky I love you

You were sat on a chopper with a group of men in heavy black combat armour while you sat in a tan T-shirt bullet proof vest hiking boot combat pants and a mask.

"Alright listen in. In sixty seconds we land then move directly to the target building we've got a five minute window to get out understood." An officer said looking around.

"God you have an annoying voice" you said not giving a shit about what he said.

"What did you say boy?!" He said shouting at you.

"Three things. Your breath stinks, you really aren't scary and I'm about five years older than you. Boy." He just huffed and everyone else laughed.

The chopper shook and you all flooded out and began taking fire. You ran straight into a vacant building and setting up at a window dropping four soldiers with your M249 SAW. Your 'team' got up and began firing at the other soldiers. Footsteps came from above you so you switched to your beretta and killed two people going down the stairs.

"They've got reinforcements coming from the west." Command said over the radio. You looked over to the soldiers bodys and saw a type of bird patch on there arm with the words SHIELD underneath. You went back to shooting as your 'team' moved forward. You climbed out of the window and began sweeping the target house with your pistol seeing a man in blue white and red with a shield. 

"Oh shit." You said as he turned to you. 

"Put it down and you won't get hurt." He said walking towards you. 

"Fuck it I've had a good run." You pulled out your knife and ran at him trying to cut and stab him. He dodged most of your strikes but you cut his arm and chest a couple times. He threw the knife out of your hand and kicked you down the hall. "That hurt." You said getting up. You walked back towards him he tried to kick you in the side of the head but you dodged tripped him up and began hitting him multiple times before dazing him enough to throw him out of the window. You sat down for a second feeling your chest. You definitely had a broken rib or three.

"All teams this is Romeo 4-1 we have the Black Widow repeat we have Romanoff." He said over shouting and struggling. You stood up in pain and walked over to where the team that captured Natasha was. You saw her in handcuffs with tape over her mouth. You shot the people around her and removed the gag. 

"Who the fuck are you?" You didn't say anything to her you just picked up the radio.

"Command this is L/N Romeo team is dead and the widow escaped." You said setting Natasha free and returning her guns.

"L/N we need to retreat the operation is a failure."

"Roger moving to exfil. L/N out" You began walking away but Natasha grabbed you. 

"It doesn't matter if you saved me your not leaving." You pushed her hand out of the way and managed to step out of her reach. 

"I'm not gonna fight you Natasha." You said blocking a kick and a few punches. She leaped forward and managed to pull your mask off. 

"Y/N what the fuck are you doing here?" She said in shock.  

"I'm here because I was asked no because I need to be." You said walking past her.

"Do you even know who your working for?" 

"Not a clue oh and I threw the guy in blue out a window I don't know if hes ok or not."

"That was Steve." She shouted

"It was self defence."

"L/N where the fuck are you?" A voice said over the radio.

"I've got to go." You said running away.

"Were not done here Y/N." She said watching you disappear. You climbed back onto the chopper and fell into a seat.

"What the fuck happened out there?! Well!" An officer shouted at them all.

"What happened is we weren't told what to expect out there." A soldier spoke up.

"Explain." The officer said

"We were told to expect local forces not the Avengers and shield." Another said.

"You had the equipment to deal with them. And whats his excuse?" He said pointing at you.

"You try going one on one with a super soldier see how long you can last." A soldier said in your defence. 

"I'm getting sick of this." You stood up and pulled your pistol out hitting him over the head earning a cheer from the others. "Gentleman sit down relax and we'll all take turn kicking the shit out of this guy. And if anyone asks he got banged up just before takeoff." All men agreed and sat in peace for the rest of the trip.

Time skip

You got a ride back to your apartment where the door was already unlocked. You pulled a Beretta out at slowly cleared your apartment until your reached your bedroom. You pushed the door open and took two steps inside. You were suddenly tripped and held at gun point by who woulda guessed Natasha. "Hello beautiful." You said smiling.

"Quit the bullshit Y/N. Why were you in Iran?" She said kneeling on your chest.

"It was a favour for an old friend that was it." You said as she put more weight on your chest.

"I don't believe you." She said putting the gun closer. You got sick of this and threw her off you taking the gun and unloading then removing the slide.

"If I was working for them would you be breathing right now and would I have saved you?" She sighed and stood up.

"Yeah I suppose your right." You stood up and went to sit on your bed. "I'm sorry I didn't believe you." She said sitting next to you. You just let out a little chuckle and wrapped your arm around here shoulders. 

"Your lucky I love you." You said looking at her. She turned and locked her lips with yours kissing you deeply before sitting on top of you.

"I love you too"
