- - - - - - *10 years ago* Jules' POV: "MOMMA! Do I really have to go?" I said trying to get out of my moms grip so I wouldn't have to go to school.
"Yes, now stop yelling before I give you something to yell about" She says. I pout as we continue to walk into the school.
*Time skip* It was our break time in class and I was just sitting and fiddling with my thumbs. I didn't have any friends and I wasn't any good at making any. Just before I asked to go to the bathroom, a boy came up to me. He had light brown fluffy hair, brown eyes and he looks like he's a little bit taller than me.
"Hey" He said to me.
Why is he talking to me?
"Hi" I said back. "Can i sit next to you?" He asked. I don't have any friends so i said "Yea." He sat in the chair next to me and scoots it closer. I looked at him in confusion.
What is he doing?
"What's wrong? " He asked me. "Why are you sitting so close to me?" I asked. "I dunno. I like you." He says.
HUH?
"But you just met me.." I said. "I meant as a friend. Have you ever had a friend?" He asked me. That had me thinking. Have i ever had a friend? I don't think so. "No." I answered. "Well, we can be friends. Best friends." He said to me. "Best friends? Forever?" I asked. "Yea."
What if he's annoying or weird?
"Ok. Best friends. Forever." I said. "Wanna go play?" he asked. "Ok!"
We played and played and played until it was time to go home.
Before we left he asked me for my name. "Julianna but i like being called Jules" I said. "Oh, well my name is reggie." Reggie. I like it. "I want you to meet my mom" He says. I nod and he takes me by my hand and takes me to his mom. "MOM, MOM. I made a new friend. Her name is Jules." He says to his mom.
"Hi Jules. You guys are too cute." I just smile. Just as she was going to say something else, my mom comes over. "Mamma, this is Reggie and his mom" our moms start to make conversation and me and reggie just stood there until he took my pinky and held it up. "Pinky promise me that we will be best friends forever" He said. I nod and we attach pinky's. He smiles and so do i.
"Jules, let's go!" my mom calls for me. "Bye, reggie. See you tommorow." I wave. "Bye, Jules."
Ever since that day we have been inseparable. You couldn't get us to do anything without each other. It was great. The only down side was his older brother, Vincent hacker. He's two years older than me and Reggie. Ever since me and reggie have been friends, he's been a complete ass to me, for no reason. I don't know why he's like that but i started to feel the same way after some time.
*10 years later*
Jules' POV:
First day of Junior year. Today. I'm nervous because i heard this is the hardest year in high school. I'll be fine. I have reggie. Speaking of reggie, i should text him
