The Start of A Crazy Vacation!

And so here it is! The start of a new adventure full laughs, tears, heartbreak, and drama. It's been a hole since I enjoyed writing a story like I did with chapter. I hope you all enjoy this.

I sighed in frustration as I sat down in the driver seat of my car, finally finished with my long sixteen hour shift before a couple weeks of well deserved R&R that my boss forced me to take. I didn't like the fact that I would have nothing to do for the next three weeks but my boss told me that if I were to come into work during the next three weeks he'd fire me... so what was a guy to do but follow his orders.

I looked up at the starlight ceiling of my car, sighing as I turned over the engine and made my way home in the dead of night like usual. I found it calming being the only one on the road as I made my way home from Tokyo to Hokkaido. It also gave me a chance to push my car a little on the open highway. I didn't put three-hundred thousand yen into my car for nothing.

I pulled into my driveway and sleepily trudged my way into the house. I kicked off my shoes and hung my coat on the hook before making my way up to the second floor. I let out a long and low moan as I made my way down the hall. I opened the door to my bedroom and shuffled inside, setting my bag down onto the bench at the foot of my bed. I undressed until I was only in my pants and boxers, flopping onto my bed with a tired and pained moan.

I rolled over and looked up at the ceiling, my vision a little hazy from exhaustion as I began to fall asleep. I was half asleep when I felt a gentle touch on my head, petting my head in soothing strokes as I slowly nodded off. As I passed out I heard a voice speak to me but I didn't understand what was said. I just took it as me hearing things and I didnt know why, I felt safe as I finally fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window, sighing as I tried to reach up and rub my eyes sleepily. But, my arms were firmly pressed against my sides as a rather large weight rested on top of me.

I looked down and felt my heart skip a beat as I saw a horned white-haired woman laying on top of me, but as my eyes adjusted to the light in the room, I realized that this was no ordinary woman.

This was a Demi-Monster.

When I looked back down at the girl's head I jumped, pulling back a little as my blue eyes met her deep royal purple eyes.

"Morning Dear. How did you sleep?" The Demi-Monster asked as she propped herself up a little.

"V-Very well. Thank you for asking." I said, stuttering slightly before I shook my head suddenly, "W-Wait a minute? What are you doing in my house?"

"W-Were you not told that I was arriving yesterday?" The Demi-Monster asked as she finally sat up, revealing the dark brown plated insectoid lower half that pinned my legs.

I was about to answer when my phone went off as I got a message. I sighed as I reached over and looked at who texted me. It was from my mother.

Her message read:

"Hope you enjoyed waking up to your new roommate Jeremy. She really looked forward to meeting you! ;)"

I let out a long groan of annoyance as I flopped back onto my bed, looking up at the ceiling before the Demi-Monster girl's face came into my view. She looked at me a little confused before realizing what happened.

"You weren't told about being signed up for the Host Program were you?" the Demi-Monster girl said as she stepped off of me onto the floor beside my bed.

I nodded as I sat up again, swinging my legs over and standing up with a yawn as I stretched. When I looked back at her, I was taken back as I realized how tall she was to me. But as I looked at her I realized she was fidgeting nervously, her eyes looking at the ground.
