.[DECEMBER 2nd 2021].
"I'm will not wipe ass Carol." I told my boss rolling my eyes.
"Excuse me, we can disagree but we can also keep it professional Kaina." My boss said putting her hand on her hip.
"Look, I understand your my boss but you not gonna tell me to wipe somebody ass. That's not what I went to school for, I am not a nurse aid." I told her while she sighed.
"You can fire me all you want, but if you want somebody to wipe ass then you go get a nurse aid to do that job cause that ain't me." I said.
"I can't fire you Kaina and you know that, your one of the best nurses we got. But somebody needs to fill in for the nurse aids." My boss started getting loud.
"Let me tell you something, I'm going to try and keep this as professional as I can. You know what the hell my job is, and I am doing that job. I am not doing nobody else's job that I am not getting paid for. You sit on your ass all day then decided to get up and pick with people. So the best person to fill in for the nurse aids is your ass.I'm done talking to you go find someone else your wasting my time Carol." I said going to the medication cart.
"Kai honey." One of my patients said looking at me allowing a smile to spread across my face.
"Yes sweetie." I answered softly walking over to her.
This was by far my favorite patient, she was so sweet. She reminds me of a grandmother, I actually loved her and would bring her snacks.
I didn't like her eating this nasty ass food all the time. If someone was to ever disrespect her I would snap quick.
"Don't let her get to you baby, she's just an asshole." She said mugging carol as she walked away.
"I know Pam I've been trying." I sighed handing her her medication.
Pam took her medicine while I made sure everything went down smoothly.

"I'm bout to piss." Mimi laughed loudly almost falling.
She convinced me into going out and having drinks tonight so we could bond and have fun.
I'm not having fun...
"Mimi come one walk straight." I said helping he stand straight. She pushed my arm off of her and stood straight.
"I can walk straight look." She said walking in a line straight. I shook my head.
"OW!" She screamed as she fell on her face. I held in my laugh helping her up.
"We going home now." I said holding her walking her to my car.
BOOM!
Was all I heard as I watched her fly into my backseat door face first. She began crying sliding onto the concrete.
"Mimi, come on so we can get home." I said wiping her tears.
"FUCK ALL THESE NIGGAS KAI." She screamed kicking her heels off and I knitted my eyebrows in confusion.
"Look at me." She sternly said pulling my closer to her.
"Don't ever let a nigga buy you trash food." She cried hugging me.
"FUCK YOU TOO." She screamed at a nigga walking out the club he began shaking his head.
"Damn, she hit her face hard as fuck." A voice said making turn around.
"BEN." I screamed jumping on him making him catch and hug me.
"How you been?" He asked looking at Mimi who sat on the ground looking up with tears in her eyes.
"I've been good, how you been?" I asked crossing one leg over another.
"Been chillin." He said waving at Mimi. "You good?" He chuckled.
"Ah shut the fuck up nigga." She said wiping her tears.
"Say!" I heard a strong accent voice yell with more voices following it.
I grabbed Mimi up quickly trying to force her into the car.
"Kai what's wrong girl." She said almost falling over.
"Kai, you can't keep avoiding his presence.I promise you he ain't gone be on no bullshit." He said sighing.
I had finally gotten her in the car and turned back towards Ben.
"Ben I don't have time, I wouldn't even call it avoiding I just don't want to be around him." I said walking toward the driver door.
"You ain't got time fo me na'?" I heard his strong accent.
"Leave me alone Youngboy." I said opening my car door.
He kicked my car door shut pressing his weight against it.
"You fucked up talm bout some Youngboy." Ben chuckled.
"Why yu' always on some type of bullshit' mane." He said.
"Always? I haven't seen you in two in a half years. Talkin bout some always." I scoffed.
"Ard, Nd this how u gone act after two years?" He asked tilting his head taking his bottom lip into his mouth.
I let my eyes examine his features and began noticing everything different. He's much taller, more hair, his scent was something more expensive.
"What do you need Kentrell?" I sighed.
"Need? Li' baby ion need nothin." He said mugging me.
"Okay so what do you want?" I asked in a duh tone.
"I'm tired of this damn attitude." Ben said sitting on a curb staring at me and Kentrell.
"Shut up Ben." I said chuckling.
"Checkin makin sure you straight' n shit." He said crossing his arms looking at me.
"Im straight Kentrell." I said trying not to smile.
One thing I can say about Kentrell is that even though he did some fucked up shut towards me. His love is always genuine.
He would always text me even if we were broken up asking if I was straight or needed anything. In my old mindset I used to think it was his way of trying to get back with me and play me again.
But I didn't realize it was just because he still cared for me. So I had changed my number so I could get him out of my head and it worked but he would always pop back in my mind for a while when his name was brought up.
I still listen to his music though, he makes good music it's hard not to listen to it.
He nodded getting off my car door opening it for me." Ard den, Ben come on'" he said walking away towards his All black GMC with his personal driver.
"I'll see you later Kai." Ben said hugging me looking at Mimi what had her face pressed against the window crying.
"Tell Joe to text me back!" She cried out and he walked away quickly.
