All I do is wait

In the first snow, everything begins again.

I find myself on the road where I saw you the first time and I swear I can visualize you through the snowfall, you wait for me a little further ahead and just when our eyes meet, you smile and run towards me; I would like to hug you... but now I don't even have the chance anymore.

"Taedong, what are you doing there?" asked her worried coworker when she found him motionless on the road under the snowfall.

"It's nothing," he replied with a smile as he shook his head in an attempt to keep her from worrying, but he was unsuccessful and was forced to accept an invitation to a nearby restaurant to eat something hot.

When he finally got to his apartment, he flopped onto the couch, took the control of the radio, and turned it on.

It looks like it could snow (already, look outside)

He listened carefully to the song without realizing that his thoughts had taken him back in time.

It hadn't been anything special when they met, she was just a contact in a music chat. But inadvertently their interaction became frequent to the point of wondering during the day when he would receive a notification.

They promised to meet on a specific street when it was the first snowfall and it happened. Despite the nerves about being the first time they would see each other, she unexpectedly ran to him, introduced herself, and started laughing; Taedong tried to introduce himself, but couldn't help but laugh when he saw her. He rubbed his head and invited her to eat something hot. Talking so excited about music was just an excuse to not stop looking at each other. Taedong thought her smile was beautiful.

From the moment he saw her, he wanted to hug her; no, that feeling had long since arisen in him. He insisted a lot to meet her in person, he wanted to know more about her and spend time together.

Now he was not just waiting for a notification, but also and with greater emotion for the moment when they would see each other again. He couldn't help but feel like all he was doing all day was waiting. And in the meantime, he search in his memories to endure the wait, though later with a bit of embarrassment he get the courage to ask if he could take a picture of her.

Thus, her first photograph was on the Christmas tree that was located outside the shopping center, it was the first of many in which she smiled. He spent hours looking at them, although one in particular was his favorite. Without realizing it, one day he was absorbed in looking at it, until the thought of wanting to kiss her made him wake up ashamed.
