I headed straight for my room once I heard my father yelling at Jake for bringing me home late. Yea I understand that Im being a fake friend for ditching him, but I know my dad isnt really mad he's just trying to play his role as a father.
After minutes of apologizing Jake finally came up. He knocked three times then slowly opened the door.
I was seated on the side of my bed with my head down low thinking of what went down today.
First the encounter with Falicia, then the weird time frozen thing and voices in my head saying how I am not a normal human, and finally crazy animals bowing to me. But the main thing that has me off was Jakes confession. He loves me. Im really unsure of what to do. Suddenly all of the events came to me. It struck me hard, I felt so overwhelmed and could'nt take all that happened. I had'nt relize I was crying until tear drops were falling on my lap. My tears started pouring out fast and now I was bawling my eyes out. My sniffles were far from silent, I felt the bed shift its weight and Jakes arm around my shoulders. He had me in a long comfortable hug and let me cry on his shoulders. I wasn't only crying cause of all that happened, but because I may end up losing my partner in crime, the one I was raised with and never cared about my flaws, my one and only best friend, Jake. After awile of me releasing my emotions Jake finally spoke.
"You alright."
*SNIFF SNIFF* "no."
...."do you mind telling me whats wrong..even though I can take a guess?" He said.
"I-Its just everthing that happened today I cant take too much news in one day, its all just becoming frustrating."
What Do you mean and how many news did you get?"

"Two, and I..I dont think I want to talk about it anymore."
"Its whatever you dont have to tell me now." He said.
"Umm do you want me to stay over or something?"
"Jake please dont take this offensive but I dont think I can be near you at the moment."
...."so no?"
If me and Jakes a relationship will get to an end then there's really no point in trying to keep it hanging.
*sighn* "its just that things between us are becoming way too awk-" I began to lie.
"Okay, whatever." He cut me off.
"Just be careful, whenever you need me call..or something." Without another word Jake stood up and walked to my door, he turned around giving me a quick fake smile then left. I new very well that he was hurt, but im not gonna try to call him back knowing that I put him in that state.

Its now Tuesday morning and I've been waiting for my bestfriend or whatever we are, for over twenty five minutes. He usually doesn't take this long to pick me up. Only ten more minutes left then I'm officialy late for School. My parents had already left to work and I'm still here waiting anxiously for my ride.
Turns out Jake never came to pick me up. I held on tight to my notebook, made sure my shoe laces were tied then started walking my way to school. Yes I was hurt, but what can I say I was the one that told him not to come near me and he listened, sadly.
Today was not a good day to wear vans, since it rained last night their were many puddles and I happened to step in most of them. I arrived to school during the middle of secound period with all the students eyes on me.

"Do you have a pass miss?"
" no."
"You will not interrupt class without a pass."
"But I -"
"save it for detention today after school."
Just like that I've achieved my first Detention of the year. I hate Mr. Nyman and his stupid rules. He gives out detentions for the most random things. Actually I blame the Secretary for not giving me a pass talking about "we ran out" pssh please you could of written it on a piece of paper.

Second, third and fourth period flew by, I skipped lunch not wanting to face the whole schoolbody after what happened yesterday. I took the school elavtor up to the library and went for my favorite book that I kept all the way in the last aisle. The reason why I dont check out books is
Because I have habit of losing stuff.
I sat at table close to the window and started digging into my book.
After five minutes of reading, I was interrupted by a tap on the window.
I look out and saw the two birds from yesterday morning. They never came this morning which had me wondering why.
I slightly opened the window to let them in.
"Hey birdies."I said knowing that they won't reply.
The birds looked at each other and the one I named Cherry takes three little birdy steps towards me.
"Hello, master."said a young sharp voice in my head.
I looked around to see if anyone heard that.
"Down here. I'm Agnus by the way."
Cherry said this time using its actual voice.
Did the bird just speak. I thought to myself.
"Indeed..I speak verbally and communicate through mind linking."

I looked at them in shock then remembered that lady telling me about sending the birds for training.
"Yeah were here to teach you how to become stronger, wiser and to control the elements accurately."
The bird said.
"Well as you can see, right now is not the right time."

"Nonsense, we need all the time we can get. No one knows when your powers will start kicking in. If they happened now, in school..that would just be awful."
"But how will I get out?"
"We were hopping you already had the power to fly so you can..fly out the window with us?."

"What?!"

"Shhh! Keep it down, this is a library not a chat room."the librarian shouted.
"Sorry Ms." She rolled her eyes then went back to typing nonsense on the computer.
"Okay as I was saying, what?! We've got to find another way out."
"Yea..Ooo how about you take the back door of the school and we'll meet you down there?"
"You do realised i'll get in trouble."
"Yup..but its worth it."
*sigh * "alright."

In less then a minute I was out the library door, making my way down the stairs, hiding from a teachers that passed by and out the door that led to the back of school.
I havent been back here since rumors were being spread around about a couple of seniors raping freshman girls.
"Hey it took you long enough, anyways lets get to business. We obviously wont be training behind the school. So Ray and I found this nice area in the woods."

"Woods? Um no thank you."
"Listen Genét, the queen is in their she will be watching and protecting you, but ofcourse you wont see her."

I thought about it for a while then decided to just give in.
"Fine lets go, But if anything happens to me I blame you."

Just like that we were off to the middle of the forest.
