Today is my first day at Dreamy High, the most renowned high school in Golden Town. For a back-to-school morning, the day starts well. The weather forecast announces a clear sky, little traffic jams. Nothing can spoil this great day. I'm more of the type to be nervous and thorough about every detail of my day, but for today, it's going to be an exception. I will make the most of what the change in everyday habits offers me. While drawing the curtains of my room which is on the first floor to let in the first rays of the Sun, I see my sister, Rose watering the flowers in front of the entrance of the house with my little brothers.

"Hello, Rose!

- Hello Big Brother! Rose answers me.

- Still as early as I see it.

- Of course, are you ready to go to high school? She asks me.

- Yes and you?

- I don't worry too much, you will be with me.

- Of course! I answer her, winking at her.

- Come down quickly, Mom is making pancakes for breakfast, we've left you your share.

- Share equal to yours?

- Identical, no more and no less.

- Perfect, I'm going down! "

The reason my family decided to move to Golden is to help our gravely ill grandmother. The stages of our move were very hard for all of us, we were afraid of the unknown, to start over and explore a big city. But with time and determination, we get used to it. As I come down the steps, I notice the picture frames of our family hanging on the wall. So many beautiful nostalgic memories. No place can replace my family. As soon as I enter the kitchen, I greet my parents and sit across from my father around the dining table.

"So Honey, have you taken everything for your back-to-school day? The week will be busy, soon you have to get used to the new school environment and catch up with your classes as you arrived two months after all the students. My father asks me.

- Yes, I am, thank you for caring about me, Dad.

- Don't forget to watch your sister, Rose, she will enter in 10th Grade and it will be new for her.

- Okay, I'll be observant and attentive.

- As you're the oldest, I'm afraid all this will overwork you. But know that one thing, I am here, as well as your mother. If you want a shoulder to lean on, you can find us and share your concerns with us. Here we keep your deepest secrets and always got your back.

- Thank you, Dad. Your words are very comforting, I will do my best. "

~ 7:45 a.m.~

In the car, on the road to school, I contemplate the new landscape. I roll down the window, a breeze of fresh air caresses my face, I take a deep breath and relax. The travel time seemed so short to me, time flies so quickly that we have already arrived in front of the school. My sister and I get out of the car, say goodbye to our father, and head for the front gate. Leaving someone who is familiar and warm to me leaves me with a bitter aftertaste. To begin with, we follow the signs that take us to the Principal, it is very complicated to find our way. On the way, we meet two boys and we stop to ask them the route and out of kindness, they accompanied us to the Principal's office. After some formal discussions with the Principal, Rose and I go our separate ways to go to our respective classrooms.

~ 8:25 a.m.~

A supervisor accompanies me to my class. Leaving myself alone, I knock on the door of the English room, following the permission to enter, I enter the classroom. All surprised eyes were on me, I had the attention of all the students. I felt pressured to make a good impression, but upon reflection, I present myself normally. The teacher points me to a place in the middle of the room, I find familiar faces, those of the two students who helped me this morning. So I sit down at their table, near Daniel and Thierry.

From Rose's side: As soon as the supervisor dropped me off in front of the SVT room. By opening the door, the professor interrupts the lesson to let me introduce myself. One thing done, I join the other students and follow the course. I'm glad I made friends so quickly, they're so nice, they show me around the school. I don't forget to take some notes just in case if the next time I get lost or my brother.

~ 5 p.m. ~

It was a very busy day and I am very happy that everything ended well. My sister tells me that she was afraid of encountering the unexpected and that she had prepared a lot, all these efforts and reflections did not help us in the end. My father tells us that Grandmother has been doing better since we moved to her house and that our mother often visits her to help her. We all decide together, after picking up our little brothers after school, to go visit our grandmother. Barely arrived at the destination, the car parked in front of the house, we see our mother with our grandmother coming out to greet us. Our grandmother kisses us, hugs us. She was so excited to receive us that she had prepared a great afternoon tea with our mother, or rather ... a buffet. We are so happy and busy checking in with our grandmother that it was getting late. My brothers, loving our grandmother so much, are going to ask our parents to have dinner together with her tonight. They authorize us and will prepare the meal for tonight.

In the early evening, my exhausted brothers sit on the sofa in the living room and turn on the television. Meanwhile, Rose and I are chatting around a table with hot chocolate. All smiles, our grandmother beckons us to follow her and go upstairs. What can be hidden behind this smile? We enter a room at first glance simple and dark, our grandmother lights an old oil lamp on a bedside table and invites us to sit on very comfortable ottomans, while she takes a box from a desk strewn with old parchments. She comes forward and approaches us:

"Grandma, what's that room?" Rose asks curiously.

- This old room used to be a study room. She answers her.

- Why did you bring us here? We could very well have stayed in the living room and have a chat. Here, it's very ... I apologize in advance if I do not find the right words. Dusty and sinister ... Rose confesses, puzzled.

- This place is very dear to me and it's only for those I trust. She confides to us.

- I am delighted. Rather we are Delighted to share this moment and this place with you. I declare positively.

- But I made you come here, not to show you around, but to share a secret with you ...

- Which one, Grandmother? Ask my sister.

- You'll see ... "
