"Good morning, Ryo." Said my father
"Good morning dad!" I yelled
"Could you gather the huge pumpkins and scare away the crows?" He asked
"Sure!" I answered excitedly
This was my first year ever going to the harvest festival and I was super excited.
As I ran to scare the jet-black crows, but one started to talk to me.
"Something terrible is going to happen soon." The crow stated
"Huh?" I replied
"Beware." The crow commanded.
As I continued to scare the crows and gather the juicy orange pumpkins, I felt a gust of wind. There were many colored pumpkins. There were sunflower yellow ones, Ghost white ones, grass green ones, and a lot more. After I finished my work on the farm, I decided to help my father more by delivering the pumpkins to town since it was not that far. When I got to town, I saw all my friends with their mothers, and I started to wonder what happened to mine. My Father always told me that he made me with hay and locks of his hair with magic, but I do not believe it. Before I left town I talked to my friends and their parents. When I got home, I asked my father once again about my mother and he said the same thing as always.
"I need to get some mushrooms from the forest, but I'll get them tomorrow." my father said
"Want me to get them?" I asked
"No, it is too dangerous." He yelled
"Why is it so dangerous father? You never told me why." I asked
"There is a witch who lives in the forest with jet black hair. She wears a dark Smokey purple and jet-black crow mask and dress. She also eats children."
It was 11:50pm and father was asleep, so I snuck out to get the mushrooms.
"Huh!?" I yelped
I was a scarecrow. My father was right, I am a scarecrow.
When I calmed down, I went to the forest.
"Didn't I warn you?" The crow asked sarcastically
I ignored the crow and kept going. When I got the mushrooms, I heard a huge thump.
"Huh!?!" I yelped and started sprinting out of the forest.
The bridge fell down the barren stream.
"Hello." A mysterious voice said
"You need a way home young man?" The lady asked
"Yea how did you know?" I mentioned
"I'm the only person who lives in the forest."
In the blink of an eye the bridge was back. When I got home, I crawled back into my bed. Like every day I did my tasks, and my father would just stand there saving his energy. At night I went back to thank her for making my way back home. On the way of looking where she lived, I saw a bloody note saying. "I hate you!" I put the note in my pocket and thought nothing of it. When I finally found her house, she said hello. Why are you here? Do your parents know?
"No, he doesn't my father is my only parent I don't have a mother."
"Want me to be you mother?"
"Yes!"
When I was exploring, I found another note saying." Run!" The house was filled with candles and Smokey grey rats. It started raining when we were eating so I stayed until 4:00 in the morning at her house. When it was 3:30 in the morning I heard a scream, so I started searching for my mother. When I looked outside, I was the corpse of a little red-haired girl lying on the tree. I screamed for my mother and when she ran to me,
she asked "What's wrong!?"
"T-There is a dead girl outside!" I screamed
"Huh no there isn't." she answered
"She was right there!" I yelled
"Lets get you home Ryo.." She said
"Ok.."
In the morning I did my tasks like always and talked to my friends. During the night when I was with my mother She asked me.
"Ryo sweetie can you do me a favor?"
"Yea mom?"
"Can you drink out of the cup in the stone statues cup?"
"why?"
"So I can come with you to the festival tomorrow."
"Ok!"
It was Three days later and I forgot.
"Mom!"
"you forgot."
"Yea sorry mom.."
"GET OUT OF HERE QUICK!" A voice from her old sons room yelled
"Huh!?"
"its just the wind.." my mother said
"ok!"
"can you go do it tonight?"
"Ok!"
I went to do it and the next day, and I couldn't find anyone. I saw blood everywhere and everything looked dead.
"Mom?"
"Sweetie your here!"
She had my father and her son held captive.
"Ryo!?!"
"Dad!?!"
"Now we are all one huge family!"
"MOM STOP!" He son yelled
"No now shut the fuck up son."
"As my mom let them go she picked me up saying my little prince you like the sunset?"
"PRETTY!"
