Based on the song 'I Blame You' by Aiden Martin.
Part 1
'Famous DJ, Beca Mitchell was kicked out of another Hollywood bar last night'. This is the headlining news that's all over, not just on the news reports, but on all the newspaper headlines across California.
Beca woke up at 2pm with a massive headache. She didn't have much memory of what had happened the night before, but once she eventually managed to get herself up, picked up her phone, Beca had a vague idea. Her phone had blown up all morning from calls and texts from friends, colleagues and her manager.
'Eurgh' she groaned. She could not deal with anything to do with people, so she threw her phone across the bed and threw her head back on the pillow. Having an argument in her head deciding whether it was best to go to the bathroom or not because she didn't want to get out of bed, eventually her bladder won that one. Beca managed to get up but she wasn't up for long before a wave of dizziness hit her head and immediately fell on the floor. The thud got the attention of her roommate, Fat Amy who barged into her room.
"You ok, shortstack?"
She could hardly speak. She groaned and put a thumb in the air.
Amy walked over to her, linking her left arm under Beca's right arm to help her get up. "Becs, you can't keep doing this to yourself. You're the big BM come on" Amy sat her down on the bed.
Beca ran her left hand through her hair. "I really don't wanna discuss this right now. I have a headache and I feel like a truck has run over me more than once".
"Honestly, B. I'm not surprised. I left you with CR and she said you were a mess by 1am. Come on, it's been over a year". Her eyes went wide and immediately looked down. She managed to look down quickly before seeing that Beca had given her the famous 'Beca Mitchell death glare'. "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have said that."
"Just, go."
"Come on, let's get you downstairs, we'll get you a coffee in your system."
"Don't. Don't do that, I'm not in the mood. I'll come down when I am good and ready. You know where the door is."
"I didn't mean for that to come out like that! You've been down for so long, I hate it."
"What do you expect, huh? I gave her EVERYTHING I possibly could. She broke down my walls and made me actually talk to people, which you know isn't good for me, and I clearly wasn't fucking good enough!"
"I'm not going through this again, B. Look, I'm sorry, come on, let's go downstairs"
"I need the bathroom first"
"Alright. Oh, before I forget, Jesse phoned. You're all over the news and it was too late for him to get control of it. He's asked to see you tomorrow morning as we all know you wouldn't be up until noon"
Beca just responded with a groan and entered the bathroom.
