"I had to abandon everyone I loved and cared for, while they waged war against the forces of evil,Alone"

Not a glint of sunlight penetrated the gray dreariness them at was the skies of June. Rain was pouring down from the ominous clouds, while the air was humid without a billow of wind.No one stood outside in the overcast world of southern jump city, making the sounds of movement almost extinct. The loudest sound was the monotone hum of the air conditioning fan of the deli across the street. Water laiden with small twigs and candy wrappers plummeted into the nearest storm drain at lightning speed.Only fast food boxes and old papers blew in the wind of the abandoned streets. No one walked among the seemingly post-apocalyptic landscape, except for one brave soul.

A silhouette trudged on in the rain across Mayfield Avenue. Walking ever closer with the same tired walk. The silhouette stopped a few paces from the local Convenience store to re-arrange her messenger bag. Her hair fell into her eyes. The candy apple bangs she had parted in one side were glued to her face. her green eyes scanned the area around her. Then those same emerald eyes looked to her pockets of her magenta and black wind breaker. The right hand lapel area had a rather peculiar name on it:Pheonix .Phoenix's head stopped turning around confused when she glanced upon Zhèngyì harbor. A daunting tower on top of a seemingly large island with a large beach around it. A tall glass tower in the shape of a T loomed close yet far enough to be isolated from the rest of the city.Phoenix began to walk towards the harbor with a sense of purpose. For the next five minutes Phoenix trudge to the harbor. Every few paces or so she would crane her neck to see if anyone was looking at her. After thirty seconds she would continue walking. At last she got to the Harbor. There was one boat occupying a space in the harbor with lobster traps and old rope trimming the sides. No one was on the boat at the moment. No one was in the harbor. The apple red haired girl looked nervously around until she finally locked eyes with the island. She breathed slowly and deeply. Then something happened, something that had changed her life for forever.

***Chimera*

I had looked everywhere to make sure no one saw me using my powers. That had been my downfall in Sacramento, Nashville, Denver, Toronto, Bialya, and Central City.I looked around one more time to see if anyone decided to join me then "blurred" as Chief called it and became someone else.

My powers were simple enough, I could become a human- esk character of my choosing at any given moment. Although all of them have their own weaknesses. Alot of them are physically tiring if I try to hold them too long.

Once I had blurred and became one of my personal favorites. I became an Altlantian, my skin was a plae aqua now with coral eyes and long aquamarine hair tied in a loose fish tail braid. My forearms and legs had translucent fins.

I walked over to the edge of the dock. I took a final look around and Jumped. The water was a deep azurite with choppy demonic waves that were assaulted by tiny droplets. But underneath was paradise, like, The Little Mermaid magical with colorful reefs and beautiful fish. I was surprisingly fast as an Atlantan and was able to reach the island in no tim at all. Once I was on the beach I blurred out to my normal self. Then came the screeching of sirens.

And not the happy kind...
