Standing on the astronomy tower Remus held his wife's hand tight "we're okay love we're okay" he whispered holding his wife close to his chest they stood and watched as the only protection they had was being placed swallowing y/n whined "hey hey hey we're okay we're okay" he tried mostly saying that to himself "we aren't going to make it" she she mumbled as tears threatened to fall "hey don't say that we are" playing with her hair Remus let a tear fall down his face y/n looked him in the eyes he placed he's hand one her face "I can't lose you stay here" he stated "stop trying to protect me love" y/n swallowed "you don't understand your all I have left" he looked down at his wife "you don't need to explain it" she paused him "if anything happened to you" he continued "i know" she placed her finger up to his lip "you must stop worrying about me all the time." She continued he began but y/n cut him off with a passionate kiss "listen where you go I go understand" she smiled "I have to get down to the bridge with Neville I love you my dear" she kisses him on the cheek as she disaparated
As a snap appeared in front of Neville y/n stumbled over her feet and almost fell into the protection spell as Neville was holding onto the back of her The caller of her shirt standing up she brushed her pants down "thanks" she smiled as the boy looked her in the eyes fear and tears were filling his eyes putting a hand on his shoulder she smiled "we're going to be alright longbottom just don't think about it stay strong!" She encouraged "I will" he smiled back "so what are you fighting for" he asked trying to break the silence "I have a five year old and newborn at home and my husband is right up there" she smiled pointing at Remus on the astronomy tower "PROFESSOR LUPIN!" He yelled with plenty of surprise in his voice y/n reached into her pocket pulling out two lollipops "you want one?" She asked "I'm good" he looked off into the distance "your loss calms the nerves" she chuckled placing a lollipop in her mouth she smiled as her and Neville watched as deatheaters ran into the spell her eyes widened when the blue shield burnt down as the deatheaters ran onto the bridge she threw her lollipop and casted a spell setting the fuse on fire "ANY TIME NOW!" She yelled as they sprinted across the bridge
Now noticing a how the ground started to give out she screamed "JUMP!" As Neville leaped from the wooden floor y/n lost her footing as a deatheater grabbed her ankle Neville reached down to grab her hand as her finger brushed against it she was gone Neville stood staring at the bottomless pit as Ginny walked up from behind taking him away
Y/n In mid air struggled to break free from the deatheater kicking him in the eyes she pushed him away as the ground neared closer she aparated a breath of relief came from her mouth as her feet touched the ground
Remus stood waiting in the astronomy tower as Neville and Ginny walked up the stairs "where's y/n?" He smiled looking behind them "I couldn't save her she she" Neville tried "she was ambushed at the feet and was dragged down" Ginny quickly stated Remus's smile disappeared immediately "she's not dead though right?" He tried the kids didn't respond "Ginny?" The girl looked down at her feet Remus's eyes widened shoving the kids out of the way he ran down the stairs what am I going to tell the kids? What about the Weasleys what am I going to tell them or the lovegoods?
Thoughts dark painful thoughts echoed through him mind halfway down the stairs from the astronomy tower a woman with messy hair and a bloody nose walked by Remus stoped thinking he should say something to the woman shaking it off he kept walking as a recognizable voice came from behind him
Y/n ran up the stairs to the astronomy tower as she passed a man with a tear stained face he paused "that poor man" she mumbled to her self as she kept running getting to the top of the tower she stopped and looked around a small sound came from the wall "hello?" She panicked backing up Towards the rail five deatheaters came from the shadows "put your hands up!" One of them yelled "put down your wand!" Placing her wand on the ground she hesitantly put her hands in the air one mumbled a spell as a sharp pain tore through her abdomen she collapsed "Don't make us kill you where is Harry Potter" one deatheater asked y/n looked up at the woman "I-I-I don't know p-p-please I have a family" she stuttered as tears filled her eyes "I KNOW TELL ME WHERE THE BOY IS!" The woman yelled "I-I-I don't know!" Y/n yelled back the woman was furious with the way y/n spoke to her "stand up!" Y/n was forced to her feet as the deatheaters got closer to her y/n backed up "Michelle!" A voice came behind ignoring the voice the deatheater casted a spell a horrific scream filled the air y/n through all of her tears looked at the woman and said "you are a monster from hell"
Inching closer y/n was pushed against the rail as a younger woman came in front of the deatheaters "y/b/n!" Y/n embraced her carless of if she was good or bad "idiot" y/b/n snarled pushing y/n by the shoulders over the rail as her scream filled the air everywhere as if she was the only person alive Y/n grabbed onto the gargoyles horn pulling herself to the wall holding her breath the deatheaters looked over the rail "she's gone our work here is done"
Remus stood at the last step as a scream came from above a familiar scream

Remus in a panic ran back up the stairs "she's alive!" He whispered almost at the top floor her scream filled the air once again Remus hugged himself against the wall as deatheaters came flooding down once they were down he ran up the stairs to see y/n dangling there "REMUS!" She yelled "your alive!" He yelled "NO SHIT just help me up please" she yelled adjusting her hands on the gargoyles horns as her hand slipped she screamed pulling herself back up Remus reached his arm out "I got you!" She tried to reach his hand but couldn't reach "SON OF A BITCH WHY CANT I REACH!" She yelled as tears poured down her face
