"Are you even paying attention to me?"
Jeongguk hummed even though he wasn't really listening, only managing to catch that part.
The other groaned loudly and rolled his eyes, grabbing a rag, wiping his hands off, and throwing it into the sink and storming off to their room.
The younger bit his bottom lip and looked back at the cards in his hands and sighed heavily.
He only had cards because they were helping calm his anger down right now.
But not to his knowledge, Jimin was upstairs, locked in their bedroom, laying back against the door.
He was crying. Not that much, though. Which this was a surprise but in all fairness he probably doesn't have any more tears in him.
"Dammit," Jimin felt his body heat up, his throat starting to hurt.
This may seem like a little thing to get this upset over but it wasn't. Jimin was telling Jeongguk something extremely important but Jeongguk didn't listen.
Typical.
Jimin swallowed thickly and clasped his hands together but knew he had to make himself more comfortable and calm down.
So he did
Jimin had wiggled down a little to where he wasn't all scrunched up and he breathed in and out slowly, feeling himself calm down.
There
He thought for a few minutes and then just gave up thinking about it. It's alright. He doesn't need to stress himself out more.
"Alright there we go," he got comfortable. Very comfortable now. He smiled softly and breathed out. There, he's calm.
He heard the other throw something around downstairs and rolled his eyes but nevertheless left it be because he can't approach Jeongguk when he's like that.
Jimin did, however, hear his footsteps approach and he bounced up quickly, unlocking the door and then power running over to the bed and flopped down on his bed and rolled to his side, pretending he was asleep.
Okay---this is okay.
Jimin swallowed thickly when he heard the door open and Jeongguk made a weird, confused sound. He didn't think too much after that, though.
The younger took off his work vest and threw it aside and then he changed his clothes.
Jimin didn't move this entire time. He didn't even think he was breathing but nevertheless he eventually found himself breathing in heavily.
The other didn't seem to notice and just crawled in bed next to the elder and laid there, hands together and on his stomach. He didn't know what to say.
Just perfect
Jimin didn't say anything, either. He knew better not to.
"Goodnight."
Jeongguk softly said, rolling over to his side, opposite of Jimin. Jimin pinched his eyes shut and breathed in quietly. He couldn't reply as it would just start an arguement.
He knew it would.
What was saddening to Jimin, though, was that Jeongguk's voice was so quiet to him. It sounded so distant. Almost like Jeongguk was on a different planet. But that couldn't be---he was right next to Jimin in their comfortable bed.
He was next to Jimin but yet so far away at the same time.
Jimin felt some tears build up but held his breath, feeling his throat begin to burn and his chest tighten. No, he can't cry.
It's alright
Jimin tried to convince himself it was okay and he would be okay. He didn't need any one to comfort him. It's okay.
It's okay.
