Just one look at the cold moonlit blank around me and I know I am dreaming. That knowledge doesn't stop it from happening. I know what is coming. Knowing doesn't make it any eassier.

I stand still, as frozen as the ground beneath my feet.

"You know you should!"

I try to look away but I can't, she's there trapping me within her gaze.

"Go on! Do it!" She says it feircely.

I can't. I won't. I am unfeeling, rigid in place, barley blinking.

"Just pull the damn trigger Cas! You know you have to!” She is almost shouting now and tears are streaming steadily down her face.

She is right.

 I do as she asks.
