Chapter One : friendly faces

My heels bounced up and down in the elevator as I waited for the familiar ding. My long bright red hair was getting tangled in my necklace. Once I saw the doors open, I ran right into the lab and was welcomed with a large hug.
" makayla ! You came! " Abby screeched outload I couldn't help but smile " yes ma'am Gibbs said I could vist everyone since I was spending the summer here " she smiled and released me I looked around for a min before seeing her computer screen " new case ? " I asked begging for the attention to be off me " yes ma'am a petty officer was found dead in a parking lot " I nodded and jumped when palmer came in with a large box of samples in small glass jars " okay Abby ducky said this is everything he could get for now " as he looked up he saw me " Makayla ! It is so good to see you again ! Gibbs  is still down stairs but ill let him know your here " i looked down "uh no need I was about to head down anyway" I gave Abby a small wave and made my way back to the elevator as I dropped one more floor I saw the doors for autopsy I strolled in as the smell of rubbing alcohol made my nose itch " uncle ducky? " I hollered." Ah yes, my darling, how are you doing? I'm sorry I would hug you, but alas, I'm in the middle of this autopsy " I stayed back watching " it's alright I was just wanting to let you know I was here" I looked up and smiled a little causing him to chuckle a little " well my dear why don't you go ahead and head upstairs gibbs only left a moement ago and I'll be up in a while for lunch " I nodded and took my exit to the elevator I went up to the main agent floor and walked over to the area Gibbs team sits and took my spot on the floor infront of Gibbs desk and put in my ear buds and began writing a paper on my laptop for class.
