⚠️𝘛𝘞: 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩, 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘉𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴(?)It was a sunny day in Mondstadt, with a slight breeze blowing throughout the town. Many people were enjoying the beautiful day, especially the Acting Master herself. Traveller (Lumine or Aether) had set off on their journey to Inazuma, hoping to find more news about their lost sibling. That meant the commissions were left to the Captain of Reconnaissance Company, Eula.
Eula didn't mind the commissions being left up to her, as long as her lover had accompanied her on some of the quests. Speaking of the so-called lover, Eula was just about to go seek for her. On her way towards the front gate, she had decided to stop by Flora's little flower shop. Rummaging through the pouch that hung around her waist, Eula had handed Flora a few pieces of mora in exchange for a small lamp grass.
A small smile spread across her face, before continuing towards the front gate. There awaited Amber, the wind blowing through her hair as gracious as a goddess, at least in Eula's perspective. As the captain had made her way towards the perky girl, the other had already sensed Eula's presence. With a turn at the heel, Amber had went to give Eula a hug, which was normal thing between the two.
"Are you ready to head out?" The brunette asked excitedly, tilting her head a bit upwards towards her taller significant other.
Eula gave the girl a small nod, before pulling out the lamp grass that she had purchased, handing it to Amber. With a small, yet exaggerated gasp, Amber had held the lamp grass in her hands, before placing it up in her hair. Oh how beautiful it seemed on her. After that had occurred, the two had set off to complete commissions.

After completing three commissions, the pair were pretty exhausted. They both were currently located in Dragonspire, which really wasn't good for either of them. The weather up there wasn't just it's usual chilly atmosphere, no it was like a full on blizzard. The two had to set off to try and find a little boy's father.
Amber shivered, her hand gripped onto the bow that was in her hand. Her eyes scanned over the area, looking for a source of fire. Baron bunny certainly wasn't doing the job. On the other hand, Eula just seemed tired. The cold didn't faze her as much as it did to Amber, but she couldn't help to feel a bit drained.
Finally, they had entered a largely looking cave, which was way bigger on the inside.
"Amber, please be careful. We don't know what could be in this cave." Eula spoke softly, slowly making the move to grab onto Amber's gloved hand. Even with gloves on her hands, Amber still had gotten a warm feeling inside of her from just that gesture.
Going deeper in the cave, Eula had spotted a camp full of Hilichurls & Ice Shieldwall Mitachurl's. She softly tapped Amber's shoulder, pointing over to the camp. Amber seemed to understand and slowly raised her bow. From the point they were at, it wasn't a far hit. Unfortunately, there was something bigger awaiting the two beyond that camp.
As soon as the fire arrow hit one of the hilichurls in the face, that was their time to attack. Eula had jumped from where they were standing (not really a far jump) and slammed her claymore on the ground. She swung the giant sword so elegantly, it really did suit her fighting style. Amber threw a baron bunny down at the ground where two hilichurls were, to distract them. With that, she had helped with the attack.
After clearing out the camp, they had took a moment a to catch their breaths. Amber was the first to say something.
"You looked beautiful back there, swinging your sword around like it was nothing."
That statement made Eula's redden suddenly. She was about to return a flirty remark, but her sentence was cutoff by a very loud roar. Eula quickly snapped her head to the right of her, which a Frostarm Lawchurl charged her way, full speed. To her luck, a sudden force a pushed her out the way rather harshly. That force happened to be Amber.
"AMBER!" Eula's voice screeched as she watched the other get hit pretty hard. Amber's body had been flung over to the edge on the platform (raised ground) they were on, where her right hand had dangled off slightly. Amber was barley conscious after that hit, a stream of blood had seeped from her mouth.
The Lawchurl had threw a huge chunk of ice towards Amber, unfortunately Eula was not fast enough to protect her from the ice. The object had landed on Amber's leg, literally crushing it. An agonizing scream was heard. This brought tears to the captain's eyes. Gripping onto her sword, Eula charged at the lawchurl with full power. The fight had took a while due to Eula's vision being cryo, which really wasn't much help at the moment.
After finally defeating the monster, without even thinking, Eula had quickly made her way to Amber's body. With all of her might, she had tried her hardest to break the ice (let's act like she actually broke it with her claymore.) The ice was gone, but so was Amber. The brunette's body laid lifeless, the amount of blood that had leaked from her mouth and leg.
Eula's eyes widened, stinging tears forming at the corners of her eyes. She had slowly kneeled down and picked up Amber's limp body. The lamp grass had still sat in her hair. Ultimately, Eula had broke down into a series of sobs. Holding her former lovers body to her chest, letting out every type of horrid scream that was left in her body. Not only did she feel as if she had lost the battle, but she also lost a loved one, who she had enjoyed all of the time spent with her.
There was funeral held a few days later after the incident. All of the residents of Mondstadt attended, even a few others from Liyue. Depression was brought upon the town, as soon as the bruised up Eula arrived to the front gate with Amber in her arms.
"We are all here today to mourn the lost of a very close person to all of us. Some might say she was a close friend or a joyful helping hand, someone else might say she was lover." The Grand Master spared a side glance towards the Reconnaissance Captain, seeing if she was alright. "We are here to mourn the lost of Amber. The Gliding Champion of Mondstadt." Jean's voice was scratchy, her throat felt as if it were closing up on her. She felt as if she couldn't breath. The service had to continue.
When the news was passed onto her, she immediately broke down. It was hard to believe.
Eula, Kaeya, Lisa, Barbara, and even Diluc stood on the sides of Jean. Occasionally, Kaeya had to turn around to wipe his eyes a few times. Lisa did the same well. Diluc was the one who kept it together or at least tried to. Barbara had to excuse herself in the middle of the service due to her not wanting to cry in front of countless people. Then, there's Eula. She didn't care who would see her cry at this point. Tears streamed down her face, but her facial expression seemed so emotionless.
The last words that she had gotten to hear from Amber were about how beautiful she was.
"I love you, Amber."
A blushing Amber was brought into her
memory."I love you too, Eula."
