Chapter 12: Father Daughter Time

Jack's P.O.V.

J: Are you expecting someone?

E: No, excuse me

She gets up and goes to the door. I hear her talking to someone and then the door close. I look to the door way and there is Elsa. She doesn't say anything, she just sits back down where she was before she got up.

J: Is everything okay?

E: Yeah, just a reporter trying to get some dirt

J: Does that happen often?

E: *chuckles to herself* It's New York Jack it's a pretty common thing as well as paparazzi

J: Must be a real pain

E: You have no idea

J: May I ask you a question?

E: Of course

J: Do you think Alice would like to have a father daughter day tomorrow?

E: *smiles* I think she'd love that

J: Would you be okay with that though?

E: Of course. She's your daughter too Jack. I thank you for asking for my permission though but you really don't have to

J: Really?

E: Yes of course. I know that at first I had kept her a secret from you and that wasn't at the right of me. But at the time with how you were I wasn't sure if you were ready to be a father yet. So I took it upon myself to just leave and not tell you that I was pregnant. I'm sorry that I did that to you Jack.

J: It's okay, I promise. I can't say I really blame you though. Who I was back then I wasn't really in the right state of mind. And to tell you the truth I don't think the Jack back then was ready to be a father. But I can tell you is that this Jack is ready to be a father. I want to make up for lost time and form a relationship with Alice. I also hope that maybe someday if I am able to repair the damage I caused between us and hopefully one day we could be a family

Elsa's P.O.V.

I am a little surprised and taken back by what Jack has said. I am happy that he isn't mad at me for what I had done before and I am happy that he wants to form a father, daughter relationship between him and Alice to make up for lost time. But the one I am really unsure about is if I'll be able to fully forgive Jack for what happened that day. I'd love for us to become a family but will I really be able to do this? I want to be able to trust Jack again cause deep down I know that I am still in love with Jack

J: Did I say something wrong?

E: No you didn't, I'm sorry. I just got lost in my thoughts

Before he could respond the door opens and closes. I already know who it is.

Ali: Mom I'm back *stops when she sees Jack* I didn't know Dad was going to stay with us *obviously excited*

E: Well he didn't have a place to stay so I offered for him to stay here with us till he has to go back

J: Are you okay with that Ali?

Ali: Of course!

E: Your dad has a question for you sweetheart

Ali: What is it Dad?

J: Would you like to spend the day with me tomorrow? To make up for lost time?

Ali: *excited* Yes I'd love to dad!

It's great to see them both happy. I want this to last for as long as it can.

E: I'm tired guys but I am tired I am going to go to bed

Ali: Okay goodnight mom, I love you

E: Goodnight my dear, I love you too

J: Goodnight Elsa, thank you again for letting me stay here

E: Goodnight Jack, you're welcome *leaves*

Jack's P.O.V.

I watch as Elsa leaves to her room to go to bed. I can't help but feel sad to see her leave. I know I'll see her tomorrow but I can't help it. Alice and I stay up for a bit longer and talk.

Ali: I'm getting tired Dad, I think I'm gonna go to bed

J: Okay sweetheart, would you mind showing me to my room?

Ali: Of course, follow me *takes him to his room* here we are

J: Thank you sweetheart

Ali: *hugs him* You're welcome

J: *hugs her back*

Ali: Goodnight Dad, I love you

J: I love you too sweetheart, goodnight
