The Scarlet Flame of Love (Grimm x Pure Vessel)

The Knight

               A small vessel steps of the edge of the howling cliffs and leaps down into what waits for it below. The knight, also called the vessel or ghost came into hallownest recently and since, it has found the scarlet lantern, slashing the coals with its nail, it lit the flame. Breathing life once again into the Nightmare Heart. On its way back to Dirtmouth it notices a large blood red tent camped outside the fading town. Entering it sees Brumm playing his accordion. "Hello there traveler, I know you were the one to begin the ritual. Go deeper into the tent, your destiny awaits." Brumm said with a smile.  The vessel continued into the tent and came across a tall and slender figure draped in a scarlet cloak that covered most of their body. "Through dream I travel, at lantern's call, To consume the flames of a kingdom's fall. You will feed my spawn these scarlet flames so the troupes procession may continue." (*you got the Grimmchild charm.)  wondering the deserted kingdom the vessel finds six of these scarlet flames. returning to grimm he hears a call, one deep and resounding, it came from the black egg. the Grimmchild had grown and it knew to return to Grimm. When he did "Let us provide a performance to the crowd, show them you are worthy of your role." A battle ensued between the vessel and Grimm, the vessel eventually winning, winning his role.  "You must collect another three of the nightmare essence in order to give him his next growth stage." Grimm spoke with a relaxed voice, as if he was finally trusting the vessel. The Vessel came back hours later, with all three nightmare essences and fed them to the grimchild, causing him to grow once more. But when it went looking for Grimm it only found him hanging upside in his room, striking him with it's dream nail it entered the mind of Grimm.  This vessel was not ready for the power of the nightmare king. It fought valiantly but inevitably failed. Standing it again entered the Nightmare kings mind and fought, failing over and over, repeating this process again and again.  After thirty-four trie it gave up, leaving the tent and going to the black egg. The air filled with orange mist from the infection, like a spring day full of pollen. The little knight broke the seals and stepped inside of the void egg. The air, no longer filled that orange mist is now filled with the weight of void seeping around and through the egg. The knight dutifully equips his charms and steps inside of the hollow knights chamber, allowing hornet to pin him down as he faces the radiance, this is it, the final moments were here.
