• EP 8 - An Assassination •

<Taehyung was driving towards the airport as y/n and Jungkook was on the backseat of the car. Jungkook had many questions for his hyung.....why did he left without informing him? why he is related to y/n and her kingdom?>

"Y/n, Jungkook!.... I'm not sure why Haneul is leaving the country?..and him working under Joo Dan Tae is somehow not giving my good directions!!...it could be dangerous for you both to be infront of him. I also can't get help from the defence forces as they need a background of case to take action, and we can't explain them why we have to get Haneul!"

"It could never happen!....my Hyung never harm anyone. Stop talking nonsense!!!"- at this moment Jungkook was confused as well as worried for his hyung. He never thought his hyung would work under a Mafia.

Y/N POV~~~

"Huh!!... Why do that car kept on following us!?"- officer Kim said while looking through the rear view mirror.

Taehyung kept on changing the lanes and that car kept following us. " Who is it?....why do they have to follow us?"

"Jungkook, y/n.....did you by any chance know how to use a gun?"- he asked confusing me....

"I learned to use it when I went to some camp"- jungkook said making a confused face as well.

"Ahh... Yeah I also know to use it, but why?"

"Here!...take these.....I don't know who is there in that car!..I'm going to speed up....it could be dangerous so, keep these."- he said while handing over two guns.

He increased the speed of the car making me a little scared....

"Seems like I've lost the way to the airport"

"Huh?....are you sure officer kim?...... Haneul would leave Korea soon."

"Yeah Jungkook but that car kept on following us, it could be dangerous if we now drive towards the city."

"Officer kim!!! That car is near-"....

The speed was terrifying.....both the cars were now driving through the highway.

But the thing that we didn't noticed was, there was another car!.... another car that was a little far from us that's why we failed to notice it.....

 Now both the cars behind us were driving side by side.....we all were confused as fuk, our stop was at airport to stop Haneul from leaving but we were here getting chased by a car.....

"W-hat-"- before Jungkook could complete his words we heard a thud sound which probably came from behind..

We turned our head to see a a man leaning out from the passengers seat window holding a gun and it was pointed towards our car!!.....while the another car was now beside us......

We heard another loud thud sound making me scream as I covered up my ears...soon I felt pair of arms around me holding me tight....

"Y/na.... don't be scared"- Jungkook said as he rubbed my back.

"JUNGKOOK WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!"- I screamed as I saw him removing his hands around me and leaning his head and hand out from the window ponting the gun towards the man behind.

Shooting him dead he said- "officer kim..... speed up..make sure you are far from that car"

"JUNGKOOK HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!!!??"

He streched his hand straight and shot the tire of the car as it lost its track and crashed onto the road divider....... taehyung increased the speed as he understood what he have to do.....after a second or two, the car exploded burning into flames...

Jungkook got inside the car as I pulled him into a hug as I said.."you are Insane".

The another car was now driving infront of us.....

That car increased its speed and stopped creating a screeching noice as its side was facing us now.

Taehyung was fast enough to pull the breaks creating a large impact that could throw us out but Jungkook held me.

All the rush came to a stop and there was silence for few seconds.....

The door of that car opened reveling a girl in her early 20s.........she was breathing heavily, her eyes were teary. She made her way towards our direction with slow steps.

The three of us opened the door and went infront of the car to see who she was while Taehyung loaded his gun for defence.

"I'm not here to harm you, believe me"- the girl said as taehyung lowered the gun while being confuse.

"Why were you following us then? Who are you?!"- I asked as she diverted her gaze towards me.

"Haneul!!....he not there at the airport. He was running away from Ju Dan Tae, but he got caught on his way to the airport. He is currently at the base...Ju Dan Tae found about Jungkook so he send his men to kill him......you should come with me if you want to know where Haneul is."- after listening to her my whole body froze.....they were here to kill Jungkook. 

More I was trying to solve the things, more they are getting twisted.......at this point I was helpless.

"How can we believe you, how can I believe that you know where my Hyung is!?? We don't even know you."

"Do you have any other option rather than believing me?"

"But who are you, we should first know who you are!"- I asked as she again turned towards me with a small smile.

"y/naa.... it's been really long so, it's obvious you don't remember me."

"Huh!..what do mean? Do I know you?"

"Kang mi so, elder daughter of the thunder queen, you sister"- no way!!!.....I heard the rumours about my sister but mother never said anything about this topic so I ignored it thinking of it as a rumour only.

"Yo-you?...how? Mom never talked about s-omething like that!"

"You don't have to know anything!! You won't remember anything as well"
