Part 22: Bitter as Cornbread

Our song was 🔥🔥🔥fire, I swear we finished up and headed out we went to his momma house to get his daughter. We pulled up and got out, i grabbed Erianna and we walked up to the porch. He rang the door bell and waited on her to answer, his mother came and answered the door " waddup ma" Cornbread said "this my girl Queen" he said. "Hey baby im Lara but you can call me momma" she said hugging me. "This my other daughter Erianna ma" he added taking her car seat out my hands." Hey momma" she said getting Erianna out her car seat. "Mya! " he yelled , "yes daddy" a lil voice said for the kitchen. "daddyyy!!!" She ran to him and said hugging his legs. "Hey baby" he picked her up saying. I watched his momma with Erianna, she was so good with her. Cornbread told His momma was to watch the kids till i got off in the morning, and I would come get them . I wasnt happy about leaving my baby again but, I didn't have a choice. I wast gone be able to pay the bills if I didn't work. He introduced me to Mya, she so damn sweet.
Me and Cornbread left and stopped by the store to get gas before dropping off at home to pack. I pulled up at the pump and got out to pay, Cornbread got out and came in too. "Lemme get 25 on 3" i told the man as i gave him a 50. Cornbread stood beside me "damn ma' you sexy" he told me while i waited on my change. "Thank you" i said, he flirted with me the whole time stood there. "Bitch im her man" Cornbread yelled. I grabbed my change and took Cornbread by his arm and walked him out the store. "Why tf you disrespecting me like that ?!" He yelled. "You need to calm tf down and stop making a show for these folks" i said calmly. He walked to the car and got in the drivers seat, I pumped the gas and got in. When i got Cornbread started yelling again "Dont you ever in yo fucking life disrespect me life that again" he said as he slapped me across my face. " i will fucking kill you" he told me .
