(n) live of darkness or night. Finding relaxation or comfort in the darkness.
Nyctophila. She felt that, she could sit in the darkness all night.
It calmed her. It relaxed her. It was one of the two things she could do without feeling pain.
Without feeling judged.
The monsters under her bed never judged her. The creatures in her closet never existed. The demons only came to hurt her.
But never judged her.
In the darkness she fit along with all the monsters because they knew how it felt like being judged.
She listened to all their screams and roars. As they listened to all her cries and sobs.
They knew how it felt like being unloved.
Not being cared for.
They knew that maybe , just maybe
She was worse than them .
