As of July 14, 1928, police have discovered that Mrs. Juline Brendane had unearthed the body of her deceased husband, Mr. Gary Brendane.
After common folk noticed the dug-up gravesite in Watterson Cemetery, the authorities were contented. The police went to the Brendane residence to inform Mrs. Brendane of the unfortunate events. Upon opening the door they were face to face with the skeletal face of Mr. Brendane, Mrs. Brendane followed close behind shouting for him not to open the door.
According to Mrs. Brendane, she felt heartbroken and lonely after her husband died.
To solve this problem she decided to dig him up. "If he were closer to home," She stated, "I would feel less lonely." But when she brought him back home and placed him on his favourite chair in the living room he came back to life.
The police pressed charges against Mrs. Brendane for graverobbing, as for Mr. Brendane, he claimed he was perfectly fine and wished to continue living with his wife.
