SquidGame characters | Marbles pt.1

Request ; Marble game with different characters of Squid Game and you let them win. They're really shorts but hope you like this !!

PT.1 will be of Ali Abdul (he deserves this ending), Gi-hun, Sang-woo and Deok-su.
PT.2 will be of Mi-nyeo, Sae-byeok and Yoo-mi.

Ali Abdul

You sighed, sitting on the ground with your legs against your chest. You looked at the ground, saddened by the news the recorded message announced the both of you.

Instantly when you heard you had to get in team with someone, your thoughts went on Ali, you are smart and Ali is strong, you would've made a great combo both of you.

Plus you got along so well since the start of the game, so it was the best.

You met in the first game, Ali wasn't sure to understand that well and when you saw his stressed face, you went to him and calmly explained the rules, after that you were teammates. He thanked you so much, even offered you food as you did the same.

But now, it was the end. You had to play a game of marbles in team of two and the loser dies.

Ali looked at you, shaking his head at the thought of your dead body on the ground. You both shared such a good chemistry, you couldn't and didn't want to let it end. Gosh, you really did wished you picked somebody else. In the same time, you were happy that his life wasn't between the hands of an asshole that would use his kind and naive self to win.

Though, more you talked to him and more you realised that you had no reason to get out with the money.

Lonely, sad, that's your life. You were surviving alone in this crowd of humans, with no reason why, just because nature decided to give your kind a surviving skill. Meanwhile, Ali had a kid, a wife, a freaking life unlike you. So that's when you started to think that if this happened, you would be the one dying, not the other way around.

''What should we play, then ?'' Ali asked softly, breaking your silence. You looked at him.

''We can... We can play a game that you need luck, so it can be fair. How about that ?'' You tried to smile at him.

He looks at his bag of marbles for a second before nodding and sitting next to you. That's what you wanted, a good time before letting go. You tried to see it in another way, to see it like when your parents pick you up when you were playing with your gganbu and you were sad because you loved the moment you two had. Though, it was getting very hard to do so.

''Ali, if you get out, promise me you'll be a good father for your son and a good man for your wife.'' You said.

''Of course.'' He looks at the ground, you nods.

''Alright, so...'' You take your marbles in your right hand and started to explain the rules and the game.

''So you guess if I'm holding even or odd. Which one you think is in here. That all makes sense to you?''

''Even or odd? What's that?'' He asked, you smiled.

''Odd is one, three, five. And even is two, four, six. What do you think ?'' You asked, he nods as he prepared himself to play.

You were smiling, telling yourself that you would let him win anyways, that's what you wanted after all. You both started to play, Ali was guessing right every time which you were happy about it. Until you saw him shaking his head when he guessed it right again, his bottom lip was getting shaky and his eyes were now shining by his tears coming to his eyes.
