Grandma tells me the truth.

The gate opens automatically, my eyes widen, I walk slowly towards the door, a man is waiting there for me. I get really scared.
"Hello... I'm Caro...."
"I know who you are." The man responds, he sounds a lot like the man over the phone.

I walk up into the house and sat down on a very comfortable couch.

"Ahhhhh... So relaxing!" I say, putting my feet up.

"Carol, darling, you look wonderful." A very kind lady says.

"GRAMMY!!!!" I say running up towards her.

Her body guards block her and I bump into one, and fall backwards, hitting my head.

"Men! Men! Please, this is my granddaughter." Grammy tells them, shooing them away.
I get up and rub the back of my head, feeling for any blood.

"Darling, darling. Are you ok?"
Grandma has the most nicest, and calmest voice.

"Y..yeah" I say, twitching.

"Well then, come, come." Grammy snaps her fingers and I saw many people setting up a tea place. They decorated really fast. Lights here, there, everywhere, some candles, flowers, etc...

Me and Grammy sip our teas a couple time and chat about the past.

"Carol, I must tell you..." Grammy stops and stares at one of her body guards, then shakes her head slowly, as if she had planned this.

Her bodyguard walked away closing the gates.

"Grammy, what's going on..?" I say clutching my hands.

A bodyguard comes out holding something behind his back.

"Darling, you are.... A... Princess.." Grammy says.
Seconds after, the bodyguard, pulls the cushion with my crown on it from behind his back, and hands it to my grandmother.

"I don't.."

" Your father was going to become the king, but he married your mother.." Grammy says scoffing.

I was well aware my grandmother didn't like my mother.

I squeal and say "shut up!"

My grandma was the queen, and didn't understand slang.

"I beg your pardon, I will not shut up."

But one of her bodyguards was cool, and explained it to her, what it actually means.

I then believe her and promises I will come back tomorrow, since it was getting late.
Grammy offers me a ride, but I was still in shock. I'm a princess now, or was I always a princess..
