Again warning for paranoia and anxiety

Wait..is someone in that house...? I looked through my binoculars across the street at the old house everyone said was haunted. A murder had happened a few years back in that house, and a suspect was never found. There have been a few murders in this town, the killer always left flowers on the bodies, each one with a note about how the flowers represent the person. I decided against the idea of visiting the house, but then my friends, Marina and Edith called me and said they had also seen the face in the window across the street. We decided to meet up outside the house and go inside to investigate what was going on. "Edith almost forgot to bring her flashlight, but don't worry, I brought extras just in case." Marina said, passing around flashlights to everyone. I took one, and gently opened the door, shining the light into the darkness. "I'm kinda scared because we are doing this at night, and people can see the flashlight beams. I don't think we should do this anymore." Edith started backing away before Marina grabbed her wrist and yanked her inside.

The second we stepped foot into the house, a gust of cold air slapped us, causing a chill. There was giggling behind us, almost like a child, we turned and there was a child, one eye covered with long dark hair. She lifted a finger and pointed at Marina, her veins were blue against her grey skin. "You don't belong here! Mommy said no visitors!" The child then screamed and went straight through Marina, knocking her over. "Marina? Are you okay?" Edith kneeled in front of her, a panicked expression on her face. "Don't worry, I'm fine, slightly bruised, but fine." Marina gave all of us a weak smile, getting up off the floor. "Maybe we should find stairs leading up to the 3rd floor? That's where the face was right?" I asked, aiming my flashlight at the direction of where the stairs should be. Edith shook her head while Marina nodded, taking off in the direction my light pointed. We made our way toward the kitchen, finding a set of stairs built into the wall, leading up to the 3rd floor. Edith looked into a room before letting out a blood curdling shriek and turned around slowly, a pair of rusty pliers protruding from her right eye. Marina and I screamed and turned away, marina doubling over and groaning. No...this can't be happening...this is just a dream... "This is what happens when people come over.." the child's voice rang out, forever stuck in my memory. We don't know who the figure was in the window, and we hope you read this and don't go to find out. You may suffer the same fate as we did, forever stuck in this house, forced to relive our deaths every day, until the end of this wretched house. If you're reading this, then it's too late, she's already on her way to find you, carrying the same pair of pliers
