all the members sighed as they entered their dorm. they spent hours in dance practice and were completely exhausted and worn out. jungkook seemed to have it the worst though. he had been working really hard the past few weeks to correct this dance but today he just couldn't get any of the moves right resulting in hoseok and the dance choreographer to yell at him. his body was aching from the weeks of ongoing practice. his eyes couldn't seem to keep themselves open as he made his way to his and yoongi's shared room.
he began to gather some clothes to shower and made his way to the bathroom but before he could enter, jimin pushed past him. "i'm showering first!" he yelled as he playfully pushed past the younger and shut the door in his face. jungkooks face fell as he stared at the door. he was beginning to grow frustrated. all he wanted to do was shower and sleep. he planned on waking up early in the morning to practice more. it was already late at night and he knew he would be really tired but he had to get the moves right.
he ran his fingers through his hair as he made his way back to his room. he felt disgusting so he opted to sitting on the floor instead of the bed. he brought his knees to his chest as he thought about what the others said during practice. "we've been working on this for weeks, jungkook. why can't you just get it right?" "obviously you aren't practicing enough. you need to start working harder instead of slacking off all the time." "you're being selfish and lazy. all the members are working hard. why can't you?" jungkook leaned his head back as an effort to keep himself from crying but he began to completely break down.
as this was happening, jin and yoongi stood in the kitchen talking. "they were a little hard on him. don't you think?" jin asked earning a nod from the younger. "he's been working really hard these past few weeks but nobody has really acknowledged it." yoongi sighed. "i'm gonna go check on him. he seemed pretty upset when min stole the bathroom from him." jin wished him good luck before he headed to his bedroom.
when he entered, he heard the small sniffles from the boy. he instantly grew worried and it only grew when he saw him curled up on the floor beside their bed. "oh, kook." yoongi quickly sat by his side and pulled him into a hug. the younger continued to sob his heart out into his hyungs chest.
"why can't i get it right, hyung? everyone is looking up to me but i just can't get it." he clung onto yoongi shirt tightly as he nuzzled his face into his neck. "you're doing great, baby. i see how hard you've been working these past couple weeks. you just had a bad day." yoongi whispered as he ran his fingers through jungkooks hair.
jungkook continued to cry into the olders chest until eventually he calmed down. "look at me, bun." yoongi said as he carefully pulled jungkook off of him. jungkook hesitantly looked at his hyung. the older placed both his hands on jungkooks cheeks and softly wiped away the youngers tears with his thumbs. "you did amazing today. whether you think so or not. you did your best and that's all that matters. okay?" jungkook nodded. "good. now let's go see if jimin is out of the shower so we can cuddle. how does that sound?" the youngest eyes instantly lit up. he quickly stood up, grabbing yoongi's hand and dragging him to the hallway. right on time, jimin came out. "hurry so i can shower." the older said shoving him into the bathroom.
after they showered, they both cuddled up into eachother in their bed. jungkooks head as stuffed into yoongi's chest while the older had his chin rested on his head. their legs were intertwined and their arms were tightly wrapped around eachother. yoongi was humming softly while rubbing the youngers back.
"yoongi hyung?" jungkook peeked his head up causing the older to look down at him. "thank you." he whispered softly. "for what?" yoongi smirked. "for just being a good boyfriend and always looking out for me." the younger replied shyly. "anything for my bun." he said as he placed a quick peck on his lips. "now let's get some sleep, huh? tomorrow is gonna be a long day." jungkook nodded. "goodnight, hyung. i love you." he said hugging the older tighter. "i love you too, kook. goodnight."
