CHAPTER 10

ROSE POV

I approached Jihoon who's sitting on his desk. I tapped his left shoulder and he looked up to me. I handled him the handkerchief that he gave me yesterday. I already washed it , l don't want to give it back to him dirty. It's embarrassing.

He smiled and gently took the handkerchief from my hands. He sniffled it.

" why did you wash it ? It's fine with me if you didn't. " He said while showing his geniune smile.

I akwardly laughed and replied ; " it's embarrassing if i didn't wash it. Thanks for letting me use it by the way. "

" no problem , you can borrow this anytime you want. " He replied giving me a cute smile again.

Then I also sat on my desk and the lesson began.

Soon , the bell rings and we it was break time now.

I grabbed Jihoon's arm and went out of the classroom.

" where are we going Rose ? " Jihoon asked.

I'm dragging him to the cafeteria.

" to the cafeteria... I just want to treat you because you helped me so many times and I couldn't owe back.. " I replied.

" nah , it's fine , you don't need to pay it back.. but.. I'm not going to eat... I'm on a diet. "

I stopped dragging him and looked back at him raising a brow.

" seriously ? " , I said while laughing my lungs out.

" with that lanky body ? Really Jihoon ? " I added.

" I thought girls like guys who are skinny !? " He asked me.

" Lol of course we do , but you need to eat , skipping meals is not good pabo " I said and continued dragging him to the cafeteria.

EUNWOO POV

I am arranging my stuffs when Hyerin approached me.

" Eunwoo , wanna hang out with me ? " , She asked.

" I'm sorry but I can't. " I replied and walked away.

I remember Rose told me a short cut to reach the cafeteria which students don't often uses the route. It's a garden way.

When I'm near the cafeteria , l wore Rose's cap and a mask. But before I wore the cap , l stared on it and smiled. It feels like when I have this cap , Rose is around me.

When I reached the cafeteria , l immediately bought foods and find a vacant table. I was about to sit when I heard Rose's laugh.. I looked around and I spotted her with the boy last night... Jihoon.

I don't want to ruin their moment but my feet started moving on it's own and I walked to their direction. He is sitting across where Rose is sitting so I sat beside him.

As I sat beside him , our eyes met. It felt like there's fire around us.

this man is my rival... wait , what did I say ? Rival what ? aishhhsuehsje shut it Eunwoooo . A girl like Rose refers a guy like Jihoon obviously.

" what are you doing here Euwnoo ? People might see us. " Instead of greeting me , the tone of her voice is like scolding me.

" Oh , Yea.. I'm Sorry. " I looked down and stood up and find another table. I'm a little bit down on what she said but it's for our own good. No one must know that we're roommates. It's just for our own good anyway...

ROSE POV

" Eun--- " he walked away and I couldn't continue to call his name.

" I think he's down. " Jihoon said.

" Did I say that badly ? " I asked Jihoon.. I'm feeling guilty now.

" No.. But the tone of your voice was like scolding him. " Jihoon said.

Aish.. Alright I'm guilty now. But I can't approach him for now. There are so many people around him.

" what are you two ? " Jihoon asked as he took a sip of his drink.

" huh ? "

" I mean.. are you guys related ? I remembered yesterday , Eunwoo said that you are his girl... so.. you guys.. are secretly dating ? " , He said wiggling his brows.

My eyes widened when I heard the word dating. Of course not ! Even he kissed me on my forehead , but it's nothing.. even he called me as his girl it's just nothing ! He's just protecting me.. It's nothing.. we're just roommates.. we're just friends..

" Rose to earth ? " Jihoon tapped my hand making me get back to reality.

" y-yeah ? " , Aish Rose , why did you stutter !?

He laughed at my stuttering and asked me again ;

" are you guys related ? "

" No , we're just friends.. we musn't keep in touch so that Hyerin won't hurt me again , Eunwoo is not always around to rescue me when that happens. " I said as I took a bite of my sandwich.

" I can protect you. " I almost choked on what he said. Damn.. I'm almost lost my loyalty to Sanha when Eunwoo and I started to be roommates and now... there's Jihoon making me blush.

" Lol " that's all I can say on his cheesy statement.

" If your prince is not around to rescue you , I can be his replacement and be your knight in shining armor. " , He said with a proud smile.

" Prince is more powerful than a knight.. but I will protect you no matter what. "
