"The 80's"

After school me and Danny made our way to the arcade and I was very nervous around him. Wondering is this date or a hang out you may never know.

We got there and I was excited I have only been to the arcade once my whole life and that is when I was eight years old and for my birthday.

Me and Danny hanged out at the arcade for over two hours. We laughed and made stupid jokes. 

He dropped me off and we were still laughing about how he fell off of the ride while playing the game. 

"I can't believe you fell off the ride during the game" I laughed

"Me too" chuckled Danny

After we got to my house I said bye to Danny and went inside. I saw mom finishing up dinner and dad and Charlie playing a video game. 

"Hey honey" said mom

"Hi" I giggled still laughing at about the memory

"What's so funny" asked my dad

"Is it about the boy you have a crush on" teased Charlie

"No and yes". I muttered

" Wait what bo-"

"Dinner is ready"mom shouted

We sat down and started to eat

"Dinner is amazing mom"

What?

If i butter her up I can ask her about letting me join the superhero team with her.

"Thanks sweetie"

I know what your thinking why is it so important if you join the team well because we get to find out what superpowers we have and go on different missions to save people. If I can get in there there is no telling what I can do or what super powers I have.

"Sweetie I know you just butter me up because you want to ask me something what is it" asked mom 

"Can i please join the superhero force I know I ask you this every year but can you please just say yes".  I begged

"Sweetie I know you want to join but you are too young and you might get hurt and I don't want that".

Every time I ask her it is always I am too young I can't believe her I just sat quietly and never spoke again until it was over. After dinner I went back to room and lied  down I was thinking about me and Danny's  hangout I was so happy that I forgot to text Chloe and tell her how it went.

After I finished putting on my pajamas I said goodnight to my parents and my brother

As I am getting comfy in bed I see a glowing light shining so bright it could punch someone in the eye

I walk towards it and touched it and I fell in.

Ahhhhhhh! I screamed

As the portal stopped I fell on to the floor with a big thud

"Oww"I groaned

I look up and see I am in a school with clothes on what is going on!! 

I look and see my mom or I think it's my mom

''Excuse me'' I asked nicely

"Yeah"  my mom asked

"What year is it "

"The 80's"

"Wait your my mom"

"Huh"

"Yeah well future wise" 

The bell rings and then all of a sudden I am back in my room. Did I just get transported to my parents realm?

Well I am going to bed maybe this all a dream that is currently real.

After that I went to bed, the next morning  I woke up to the sun staring at me in my eyes giving me that glare that I have to wake up or else bad mood all day

I got out of bed and got dressed I went downstairs and saw that my mom finishing making breakfast. She has made pancakes bacon eggs and some fruit.

I grabbed my breakfast and sat down with my dad staring at my soul like he wanted to grab it.

'' Annie sweetie did you met a boy last night" my dad glared into my eyes

"Correction I was just meeting Danny we went out a date or I think it's a date".

"Oh okay I was just wondering who you boyfriend was"

"He is not my boyfriend he is just my crush"  

""Oh okay I was just wondering who you boyfriend was"

"He is not my boyfriend he is just my crush"  

"He is actually your boyfriend" chuckled Charlie

"Don't you have a crush on your best Freind too"

He walked away I don't know why people think that me and Danny are dating we are just friends and we have known each other for many years that doesn't mean we are dating. Or does it?

Anyways after I finished my breakfast I got my lunch box and headed off to school. I was in a happy mood that butterflies were singing to me. 

After what I saw last night I couldn't believe that my mom was there I am going there again tonight I have to find out what is the glowing orb or light is.

I met up with Chloe and explained what I saw last night and about Danny.

"Maybe it was just a dream and you were alive during it"

"That makes no sense"

As we were talking Danny walked over to us and wondering what we were talking about. Chloe said that we are talking about girl stuff and he immediately said "no". 

We walked to our first classes and went separate ways.

After our second period it was time for lunch. I was so nervous maybe it was the fact that I went out on a date with my best friend.
