Odd One Out (Klaus x OC x Elijah)

Prologue

Elizabeth POV:

"Elizabeth!" Anne called out to her sister with tears in her eyes. "What is it?" Elizabeth asks worriedly. "Fathers wishes for me to get married!" Anne sobs.

"What? How is this possible? You are the youngest sister, if anything I should be getting married." Elizabeth says in disbelief "A suitor asked for my hand in marriage and father accepted!" Anne said, wiping tears from her face.

"Why are you sad? I wish I was getting married, life in the castle is dreadfully boring." Elizabeth says, rubbing Anne's back.

"I don't want to get married. I'm only 16! He will probably be an old man, father will accept anyway because he wants to get us all married off before we are 20!" Anne cries.

"Maybe he will be a splendid young man," Elizabeth murmured.

"I am going to see Katherine, she will know what to do."

Time skip

"Leave."

"Leave?" Anne asks.

"Go runaway, That's what I would do," Katherine declared. "But where will I go?" Anne asks. "I have a friend named Elijah who lives a mile from town," Katherine says. "Will he help me?" Anne asks. "He is an honorable man if you explain the situation he will help."

"Go! This might be the only chance you have to run away!" Katherine says. "Should I bring anything?" Anne asks. "No, just put a disguise on and run to town. Don't stop there, keep on going on the Wickery Road for a mile till you reach a brown cottage." Katherine says.

Time skip

Anne grabs a bag and puts a large kitchen knife and two apples in it. She puts her large cloak over her head and slowly creeps out of the castle.

Once she gets out of the castle she runs like hell. It wouldn't take long for guards to come looking for her so she needed to be past town by then.

Time Skip

Anne comes upon a small brown cottage. She knocks on the door. A man with brown hair opens the door. Elizabeth takes a step back, unprepared.

"Who are you?" He demands. " I'm Anne Jane, Katherine's sister. I need your help running away." Anne explains.

Elijah studies the girl for a moment. "Come in." He says and walks in, Anne follows behind him. "Why would a rich duchess like you want to run away?" Elijah asks.

"I don't want to get married," Anne says. "Ah, of course, you are Katherine's little sister, yes?" Elijah asks. "Yes, will you help me?" Anne asks.

"If we make a deal I will," Elijah says. "What kind of deal?" Anne asks. Elijah pulls out a drawing of a woman.

"This is Katerina Petrova, she has been on the run from me and my brother for quite some time," Elijah says. "How will I help?" Anne asks.

"I have heard rumors that she is in this town, all I want you to do is tell her to come here," Elijah says. "What if she declines?" Anne asks.

"She won't, she will be too curious, but I must warn you she can be dangerous," Elijah says. "What if she hurts me?" Anne asks. "I would never let that happen, my dear Anne," Elijah whispers in her ear while he tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear.
