( Legolas POV)
At last we made it to Lake town, only to see it being terrorized by those repulsive Orks. Tauriel yelled to me, "This way!" We then jumped from the roof tops and scaled down the sides of the houses to reach, where all the Orks were heading towards.

As we neared I heard a little girl in the lit up house ask questionly, "Da. Is that you? Da?" Suddenly the Orcs attack, the two girls and the boy who were trying to ward them off with Fili joining in to fight them off, outside Bofur was being attacked by an Orc and just as he's about to be killed I shoot an arrow into the back of the Orc.

We enter and start killing the Orcs on the inside, only one of them managing to escape. I watch as the Ork escapes and runs to Bolg. "There are others. Tauriel, come." I looked to her as she hesitated.

I saw Kili lying on the floor moaning in pain, and Oin looking to Tauriel for help, "We're losing him!" She then looked back at me and I knew without her saying anything what he choice was. "Tauriel." I offered her to come with me but I didn't wait to see if she followed me. I immediately left to go chase after the Orcs. It's her choice to stay with me or not......

(Tauriel POV)
Legolas left but I knew I had to stay here and save Kili. I took a step towards the door to follow Legolas but hesitated as I was torn about leaving Kili in so much pain. I don't know what I feel for the dwarve, but I can't risk leaving him to die.

At the same time Bofur arrived with the Kingsfoil. I took the Athelas out of Bofur's hands. "Athelas...." I knew I could save him with this. "What are you doing?" Bofur's questioned me and looked incredibly shocked at my actions. I smirked, "I'm going to save him."

I prepared the Kingsfoil as Fili, Bofur and Oin helped carry Kili to the table as he continued to be agonized by the poison in his leg. "Hold him down." I ordered. I looked at Kili's wound then holding the Kingsfoil in my hands I started to recite an elf incantation and apply it to Kili's wound.

He screamed in pain and Sigrid rushed to hold him down. Sigrid yelled to her little sister to come help, "Tilda!" Tilda helps keep Kili down, as I continue my incantation Kili begins to calm down and as he looks at me I swear he has the most star crossed expression.

I couldn't help but smile at his gaze. I finish dressing his wound. Oin then starstruck said, "I've heard tale of the wonders of elvish medicine. That was a privilege to witnesses." I smiled and noticed Kili deliriously looking at me, "Tauriel." He started to speak.

"Lie still." I ordered. But he continued to speak, "You cannot be her. She is far away. She...she is far, far away from me. She walks in starlight in another world. It was just a dream." He then touched my hand, "Do you think she could've loved me?" He asked me and it pulled on my heart. But I just looked at him completely not knowing how to answer.

(Legolas POV)
I was killing my way through the Orks as I was nearing Bolg. I made my way through the town and suddenly come face to face with him. As I went to attack him two Orcs come up from their hiding place, I killed them quickly, then Bolg and I each other both beating each other badly.

Bolg set two of his Orcs onto me as he walked off. I killed them and then stumbled as I touched the blood running from my nose. I remembered Maria, her stubbornness and her innocence. I missed her sweet voice singing. Most of all her scent.

"Hya!" I made my horse speed up its pace to lightning speed. I had to rid this world of those terrible creatures! For her, for my father, for all the pure and innocent people in the world. Inspired I then quickly set out on my horse after Bolg.

( Maria POV)
As far as my eyes could see there was a deep eery fog enveloping everything. My dress coldly stuck to me and chilled my skin. I can't remember how I got here, last thing I could think of was going to bed but nothing about a misty forest. How did I even get here? I started to feel lost and for the first time in forever...alone.
