<<<The Righteous Way Of The Demonic Cultivator>>> was an incomparably long homosexual web novel that Wanyin had been binging over his short holidays. The novel was about the grey areas in moral and ethical integrity, which Wanyin really liked, instead of just pointless fights. It was mostly action based, though most of the action was between the main couple, and murder mystery after mystery until all of them eventually linked up together to form the best plot twist Wanyin had ever read. So why was it that Wanyin still felt unsatisfied even after the story had long ended?

Well... it just so happened that his favourite character, Lan Xichen lost all of his happiness and couldn't even bare to go out of his own home anymore. It really struck him how such a friendly and innocent man could become so utterly devastated and hopeless... it was somewhat realistic and well done too, so kudos the the author... who wouldn't be criticising themselves after not knowing the one who was behind everything all along was the one closest to you? Who wouldn't criticise themselves after killing their sworn brother? But Wanyin felt that he didn't deserve it, he never did. He held the purest intentions and had the heart to place his trust in people, it wasn't his fault they betrayed that trust!

Okay, now his short temper is getting the better of him... he needs to remember to meditate his thoughts before going all out rampage mode. Yeah, Wanyin had extremely bad anger issues... But he thought he did a fairly good job at suppressing them!

Anyway!

That's not the point!

He was also upset that the scoundrel and worst character in the entire series was trying to murder his Xichen!

The worst character, second to not even Wen Chao, Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng, even from a very young age, was never any good. He started showing his true colours fairly early if you ever asked Wanyin, with how jealous and destructive he was. He relentlessly bullied the main character and was extremely homophobic, not only that but he was the scathing and scheming younger brother who went to kill his own Shixiong! He never supported Wei WuXian no matter what and it was said he was working with the Wens at some point to aid in the massacre of his own sect! Bah! Was he not grateful at all!? He knew this kind of irredeemable disposable character was only made to make the protagonist's backstory even more dramatic, but seriously!? Having his whole sect slaughtered for favouring his Shixiong was a little too much. He was practically a character who was meant to be hated.

So no one was surprised when Xichen caught his blade, Sandu, and killed off the villainous side character. But wouldn't this only further his poor Xichen's trauma? Hadn't he killed enough people? He'd feel regretful, considering it was his brother's spouse's shidi... tsk, that stupid Jiang Cheng could go die and rot in hell! But why did Xichen have to kill him! Someone seriously needed to invent therapy in that book.

But honestly! How could a traitorous backstabber like Jiang Cheng die in the final chapters anyway!? He should've been castrated and had his skin chopped off by ling chi for having so many of his very own people killed!

AHHHH, he's ranting again...

Anyway, one might wonder why he was even reading such a thing. Of course it wasn't because he way gay, even though more than 2000 of the 2120 chapters was explicit gay porn from the main couple... it didn't mean he was gay! Sure, some of the details and what not made him have a little problem in his trousers... But every time he saw the main character's name it was a big nono. Though... he won't exactly deny that he had rubbed one out after reading some [ self insert x Lan Xichen ] fics... more than once... BUT THAT WASN'T THE POINT! Just because he'd read and liked some explicit homosexual novels and fan fictions didn't mean he was gay. He's sure any man would willingly spread their legs for someone as hot as Lan Xichen.
