A young Elizabeth who has a past to hide ended up working for the coldest prince in Meskudor; Prince Lucien. After a few weeks of getting acquainted with each other, they realized how much they like each other.
I woke up to the morning sun, beaming on my face. I opened my grey eyes and yawned, scratching my head. "ELIZABETH! It's time to go to the market to get some groceries" my mom shouted from downstairs. I groaned and put the sheet over my body, groggily, and went to start my daily routine. About 30 minutes later, I left the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my head and body. I took up my cellphone, sat on my bed, and dialed the only person I knew would love to go on a trip to the market with me.
"HEY LIZ!" she said in her happy voice. "Hey, Ruth. I need a huge favor from you" I said in the most desperate voice ever. "Let me guess; you want me to follow you in town today.... Again?" "Please Ruth?" I said in a sweet voice. "Fine, but lunch is on you," she said with a sly voice. "Awesome. See you in 10 at Manley's" I said before hanging up. I took out a plain white shirt and jeans and laid them out on the bed. As I started putting my underwear on, my mum suddenly barged into my room. I screamed a little and then hid quickly.
"MOOOOM! Why can't you knock?" I said, a little irritated. "I got so excited because Mrs. Johansen bought the cutest outfit for you from Japan," she said, excitedly. She pushed the gift box in my hand, and I opened it to see a cute little outfit. Sadly....... "Mom, it's really cute, but you know this isn't my style". She looked me dead in the eyes and said, "That's what you're wearing to the market and it's final". "MODA!!" I said out of irritation, releasing the accent that I hated. My mom looked at me shocked. "I never thought I would hear you with that accent ever again". I rolled my eyes and continued to put the cute outfit on.
"Need me to do your hair?" "No. I'll do it myself," I said, getting the products needed for my hair. She nodded and started making my bed for me and organizing the room. 5 minutes later, I'm finished with my hair, and I had a decent-looking outfit for the market. "You look really good. The list is on the table with the money and the shopping bag. Be safe" "Yes mom, I will. Ruth is going to be there with me..... Oh no, I totally forgot I should meet her at Manley's. Bye mom" I said rushing down the stairs and out the door with the items.

"Ugh... I hate you two. I hope I find a guy just as sweet as you" I said. We all started laughing at my statement but deep down, I really wanted that for myself. "So, where you two headin' off to?" Jesse asked. "Mum sent me out to the market, and I wanted Ruth's company". "Love the cute outfit also," Ruth said. "Yeah. You look nice," Jesse said, giving me a thumbs up. "Are you flirting with my best friend now, Jess?" Ruth asked, with her hands crossed. He shook his head quickly as we both know that Ruth has a very short temper.
We finally arrived at the market, and I took the list out of the shopping bag:
"Your mom has always been the precise type, Liz. No wonder your brown skin is so glowy and clear" Ruth said, looking at the list. I was scanning the list to see what I would be able to get at the market when suddenly I felt the list being grabbed out of my hand. I turned and looked to see my enemy since high school.
