Everyone was running,until Tia trip and fell.Everyone look behind them "Tia,are you okay?" Mrs.Barron asked,concerned. "What's wrong?Hurry,we can't delay." Theo said,Tia got up to her feet "I got it,alright!I won't slow you all down." Taking off her high heels, now barefoot. "High heels are such a pain..." she mumbled
Azael was far front of the group,spotting an undead. He grab his knife and slash it,making it stop moving. He then heard his name got called,he turn his haed to the person "Don't go off on your own like that!" Wyn slightly scolded "Someone has to get rid of this one.It was in our path." Azael said
"That's fine and all.But did you make sure it's dead-dead?" Wyn questioned "Stabbing the head generally isn't enough--." When Wyn said that,the undead corpses look at him and--
(Y/n P.O.V)
We were running,until we suddenly stopped "Hey,why did we stop?" Theo asked,I saw Wyn and Azael in the front "There was a zombie in our path.I think Azael got it now." Wyn said,hopefully "Everything's under control.We can move forward now." Azael reassured "Took me a bit of work to immobiliser it.These things are resilient."
"It's fine if we need to go around.Next time just avoid it." Theo remarked his brother "We still aren't sure the exact way to kill these things yet.It's not worth the risk."
"Got it bro." Azael said, I then glance at him once then continuing running with the others
A few moments has past and we started to slow down a bit. I could only hear mumbles from the front until I heard Mana spoke "Hey,how did you manage to lure those monsters away?" She questioned the raven-ette "...None of your business.Beside,is this really time for small talk?Leave me alone." Neo said,speedwalking to the front to avoid Mana
"What?But...we're just walking anyway..." Mana said,Neo look over to her "Are you bored or what?Learn to read the atmosphere." Said Neo
"You kids sure talk a lot.Must have it easy being a kid." Ian said 'Ok...Mr.Doing-nothing!Nothing is easy in life,you annoying old peace of trash!' Mana then spoke "What do you mean easy,old man?You aren't doing anything either!And FYI, it was Neo who lured the monsters away,not you." She remarked
"It wasn't you either-!"
"Quit it." Noah spoke 'Thank you!I almost wanted to yeet myself to the undeads.'
When we were just walking,I heard glass shattering behind us "Did you hear that?" Axel asked 'Oh,I guess I'm not the only one who hear that.' I thought,looking back behind "Hear what?" Tia asked "Nevermind that.Have you seen Esther?" He questioned her 'Who?....Oh!You mean that goth girl, yeah...where is she?' Looking back again and my surroundings
The goth girl wasn't here 'Uh oh...' I then hear they're conversation again "Who the f̶u̶c̶k̶ knows?It was a hectic mess.We all were running for our lives,who even had the time to pay attention?" Axel said,that grab Theo attention "What's the problem now?We need everyone to say focused."
"We are--" "Nothing." Alix cut off Tia's words "It's nothing at all!" She reassured him "Let get a move on.We'll make sure to pay attention,don't worry." I didn't want to hear anymore,so ignored that Esther was missing in the group. Moving forward,hearing Tia and Alix conversation fading away in the distance
It was a good few seconds of mumbles in our group until a scream was heard and that alert everyone in the group. Walking in the back was the lime green eyed girl calling for help
But she wasn't the only one walking to us,it was a horde of undeads coming our way.
"Esther!?What did you do??" Axel questioned his girlfriend "Axel!Help me!" She bagged "You're leading a pack of them straight to us!!!" He shouted,Esther huff out air "I-I don't know!They suddenly came out of nowhere..." she said,then I spotted something on her leg
"What's that wound on your leg??" Axel questioned,her eyes then widen "I just tripped and fell...!" 'Not very convincing,she's gone...' I thought,running with the group
"What are you guys doing in the back!?We need to run!!" Theo yelled "Let go!" Axel command,swiping his hand back to him. Esther started shouting at him "You bastard!Give me a hand!Didn't you hear I tripped and fell?!"
"Then it's your dawn fault!I don't want to carry a burden with me!" Axel shouted,running to the group 'Now this is getting too pity.' I thought,feeling a hand on my shoulder. I turn to see it belonged to Neo "Don't just stand there,run." He said
"I know,I just thought..." trailing off,seeing Azael helping the lime eyed girl. I look back to the front "Nevermind." I mumbled,continuing running with the group.
We made it to the spiral stairs,until the people in the front stopped "Hey,why did you stop?" Noah questioned,Wyn turn his head to him "The way down is also..." at the bottom,was crowd of undeads,eyes glowing red with hungrier
"How are we supposed to get through that?" Tia asked,looking at the undeads below "It's impossible..." Mrs.Barron mumbled "That damn Esther and her loud mouth..." Axel mumbled to himself,Theo then turn to the group "Don't panic!"
"How are we supposed to not panic when we are boxed in by a bunch of monsters?" Ian said "Even if you panic,it won't help the situation." Theo said,he spoke again "Let's bash our way down before the floor zombies catch up to us!"
"The people in the front, use your weapons,and knock them over the rails!We just have to push through!"
They did what they were told,and knocked them off the rails.But that wasn't enough,more soon came and try to get to us. "Don't try to kill them!Just push them over!!" Theo shouted,Mana hold on to the glass railing,looking at the crowd of undeads "Hey,do something!More are coming this way!!" She yelled
"Mrs.Barron,please keep the children back with you.We are pushing through.Ian,don't just stand there." Noah said,holding out his hand for Li to place her bat on top.Ian glare at his brother "You of all people tell me that?" After he said,Noah then hit one of the undeads and push them into the crowd of them.Ian eyes widen
"If you don't want to get lectured,then make yourself useful."
I grab the knife in my bag,and stab one of the undeads hand,that was climbing to us with the others stacking each other. Making them fall and hit the crowd,drowning within them. I heard Mrs.Barron gasped "Girl!Don't hold a knife like that!And more importantly,where did you get it?!" She questioned,I just gave her a quick glance "What?We kids can't defend ourselves?More importantly,help out?" I questioned,raising a brow at her. She try to find words to explain to me
I then felt a tap on my shoulder,Neo,having an hand open. I understood and move my bag to the side "Wait just a sec...I think I got atleast three knifes in here." "Three?!!" Mrs.Barron shouted
Before I wanted to give the knife to Neo,I saw something fall or maybe...someone. My eyes widen,I reach my free hand to the falling boy
"NEO!!!"
