The rest of the day went by quickly, with Elena and I trying to spend as much time with Aurelia as possible before she had to leave. She would be sent home at the apex of the full moon, which was approximately going to be at 9:08pm tonight.

It was nearing 9pm when we all decided to sit down as a family for one last time before Aurelia left.

"Auntie Bex, cheer up, something good will come your way soon!" Aurelia said, going to sit on her lap. Bekah looked at her strangely.

"What do you mean, love?" Bekah asked her curiously.

"I can't tell you, but don't worry, you will be happy sooner than you think." Aurelia winked at her and went over to Elijah.

"You need to loosen up, uncle 'lijah." She said giggling before giving Elijah a big hug. She then ran over to Nik and Caroline. She went up and whispered something in Nik's ear before hugging him tightly. All the while, he was just staring at her in shock. I wondered what she told him. She then whispered something in Caroline's ear and Caroline smiled up at her sweetly. Aurelia then hugged her tightly and walked over to us.

"It's almost time, Mummy and Daddy. Remember, please don't be so mad at me when I get home, it was an accident." She said looking down.

"Don't worry darling, we won't be mad. Just be careful and don't practice your magic by yourself, okay?" I told her, kissing her on her forehead.

"Thank you, daddy, I love you." She said kissing me on my cheek.

"I love you too, my little witch." She smiled up at me and went and sat on Elena's lap. Elena looked about ready to cry.

"Mummy, you are the best mummy in the whole world. Don't cry, I love you." Aurelia said to Elena as she wrapped her in a hug. I could see a tear drop from Elena's eye as she pulled away, kissing Aurelia on the forehead.

"I love you too, baby girl." Elena said as she wiped her eyes. I looked down at my watch and noticed it was almost time.

"I can feel the pull daddy." Aurelia said as she stood in the middle of the room. "It's time."

"Goodbye, darling." I managed to say before she disappeared into thin air. I looked over at Elena who was now crying much more and pulled her into my side.

"Don't worry, love. It's not as if she is gone forever. Soon we will have her back permanently." I whispered into her hair, but I, too, felt as if something inside me was missing.

"I know." Elena said quietly into my shoulder.

"We are going to head up to bed. Goodnight, everyone." I told them as I picked Elena up and carried her upstairs.

I laid her on the bed and just laid next to her, holding her hand and brushing her face with my finger softly.

Soon we were both asleep, dreaming of our little girl that would soon be in our lives again, and wishing that day would come much sooner than it actually would.

A few weeks went by and things were slowly getting back to normal. Well, as normal as the supernatural can get, with several contradictions of nature living under one roof.

I got back from a business meeting with Nik one day and found Elena in the bathroom, vomiting blood. I immediately knew what was happening.

We had succeeded in conceiving Aurelia.
