so basically this is my first ptx fic. and of course it's a huge ambitious project. i make good decisions. (it was either this or a tlou/twdg inspired zombie fic that would probably stretch on for months so tbh this is the easier starting option)

so if any of y'all have read the darkest powers trilogy (it's a YA paranormal romance series and i just recently reread it and it will forever be in my little trash heart) this basically follows that plotline (with lots of diverging and additions and also significantly more gay) but if you haven't read the trilogy uuuuuh well i hope it still makes sense anyhow because i'm sorta just going with the flow with this fic

as a sidenote most of these chapters are really short. which makes them a lot easier to write at least, but it also means there are going to be a looooot of chapters because this is probably going to end up being quite long. hope y'all enjoy the ride!

(also i should warn you that i like the slow burn when it comes to couples. like, reeeaaallllyyy slow burn. as in nobody gets together for at least 2 books slow but that also leaves lots of room for pining and sexual tenstion aaayye)

uuuh trigger warning for somewhat gory scenes, mentions of suicide, eating disorders (including descriptions of vomiting if that squicks you), also some casual ableism (i think that's everything??? idk)
