Emily woke up, having a nightmare. "Oh thank god, just a bad dream." She said to herself. She tried to see what was in her room, but when she turned on the lights, she realized her nightmare was her reality. She saw herself in a mirror, her skin was replaced with gold and she was still in the same red, fluffy dress that was given her by Malak. She sighed and realized that she was going to be stuck here forever. She decided to change from the dress and looked through the wardrobe in the room. She replaced the dress with a black one, feeling like black was a good color to wear.
After she got on her dress, she decided to explore the manor that was her 'New Home'. She walked through the endless halls and somehow all of the traps were deactivated, perhaps it was Malak's doing or there was some switch to deactivate the traps when there was no intruders to kill. As Emily walked around, she started to think of her family and where they could be. Then a thought snapped to mind. 'Richard. Where's Richard?' Her thoughts raced as to where Richard could be, since the last time she saw him is when she was running away from the watchers after the invaded his room. She wanted to see him and had a bad feeling that something bad happened to him. She didn't even see him when they were all having wine together after her transformation.
She then felt herself bum into someone, she looked up to see William. "Oh your awake. Well good morning my dear." He said and helped her up. "Is there something wrong?" He asked as to seeing the worried look on her face. "Where's Richard?" She asked. This made the statue fall still and silent. "Why do you want to know?" He asked. "I just wanna see him. Please." She said and with a sigh, the statue motioned her to follow him.
The two reached a wall that with the push of a movable brick, opened up a small part of the wall. They reached a set of doors and when they opened, Emily gasped in fear. There was Richard, his arms hung up by golden chains. He looked heavily beat, with his face broken up and his body was slumped. One of his eyes was red while the other was bleeding black and had no red pupil. Emily's worried features turned to complete anger. She turned to William and growled. "Let him go. Now." She saw William shake his head no. "I'm afraid not my dear he needs-" Before he could finish what he said, Emily interrupted "He is being punished for protecting me! Isn't that what you and those others want, to protect me from harm. He thought you were gonna hurt me and he did what he thought was right. Release him now before I make you look like him." She said, hearing the statue laugh in return. "I am much stronger than you my darling. Go ahead and try." He said.
Emily smiled before saying. "Okay. Then I just won't love on you." She said, making the statue stop. "What. I want your love as much as everyone else here does." He said back, looking sad almost. "Okay then prove it. Release him and I'll give you a kiss." Emily said with a smirk. "Okay okay. I will." He said and pulled out a key from his pocket. He unlocked the chains and Richard collapsed to the ground. "Now get someone here to fix him." She said. "Okay. I'll get Caleb and Albert to help him." He said. Emily knelt down to Richard's level. She cupped his face and he looked up at her. "Your gonna be okay. I promise." She said and kissed his forehead. She saw a smile tug at his lips. "I have to go okay." She said and Richard looked scared and said in a weak but audible voice. "Emily?" Emily nodded her head and Richard wrapped his arms around her while repeating "I'm sorry." She pat and rubbed his back until Caleb and Albert walked in. "They are going to fix you Richard. Let them. I'll come by to check on you later okay?" She asked making Richard nod his head. With a final kiss to his forehead, she left with William but she wanted to stay but she knew that she had to give William what he wanted.
They entered his room and Emily sat on the bed, it was comfy. William sat beside her. "Where's my kiss?" He asked, sounding jealous almost and Emily caught it. "Are you jealous that I kissed Richard's head?" William huffed at her question. Emily sighed before closing the gap between her and William. William kissed back and he didn't want her to go. Soon though, the two separated. "There. I gave you your kiss." She said. "Please stay." He said, noticing her starting to get up and leave. "Fine. Since you are taking care of Richard and I have nothing better to do." She laid down next to him and felt him wrap his arms around her. "I wanna cuddle you forever." He said and held her closer to his body. "Okay. Tell me something." She said. "Anything." He said back. " How are they gonna fix the cracks in Richard's face, not to mention his eye." William giggled a bit before saying "We are made of gold my dear. We have multiple masks that are made. They will just replace his face and it will shape into his original face. As for his eye we have done that multiple times to each other sometimes on accident. It will heal on it's own, may take a week or two but it will heal." He said with a smile. "If I catch you doing anything to him again. I won't hesitate." He growled and William nodded before nuzzling in her neck. "I won't I promise." He said.
"But just know this." He said.
"Know what?" Emily asked back.
"I'll do anything for my Queen~"
