Normal P.O.V.

The spotlight shines on a single chair. Sitting on it appears to be a raven haired young lady, around 16 years of age. She dons a brown trench coat over a black turtleneck sweater. Her legs, clothed by black slacks, are crossed, and her hands are folded into her lap.

"Tell me, what makes the daughter of the Elusive detective, Looker, want to become a hero," a voice of an older female asks. "Did you grow up watching too much of the tellies?" A crowd of people laughs, but the laughter is quickly silenced by the sound of the young woman's confident chuckle.

"Hmm-Mh-Mh-Mh~. Oh, please. Nothing of that sort. You see, I don't consider myself a hero. Rather, I...." The woman pauses and rubs her chin. "Well, perhaps it's better to start at the beginning, yes?"

The scene transitions to the living room of a mansion located within the heart of the Unova Region. Inside, a blonde woman, somewhere between 19-24 years old, is seen sitting behind a couch, wearing a mask and holding what seems to be a toy gun. She cautiously looks out, every few seconds, as if hiding from a pursuer. The third time she does this, she hears the voice of a little girl racing down the stairs.

"This is the Police! You're under arrest!" The little girl reached the bottom, wearing a black coat that was clearly way too big for her over a midnight blue lolita dress. Holding a rubber billy club, the girl tiptoed through the living room.

"Come out, Come out, wherever you are!." Suddenly, the woman sneaked from behind the couch, crawling. However, the little girl turned around just in time to see her.

"Ah ! J'accuse! I found you!" The girl tackled the woman, who pulled into a tickling embrace. The laughter roared through the living room as another woman entered.

"You two must have been having fun here." The other woman resembled an older version of the little girl with her black hair being much longer. She wears a white sweater with black pants and shoes and a bracelet on her wrist with the word "Champion" written in rhinestones, a gift from her husband. This woman was known as Sachiko Sangatsu, soon-to-be-former member of the Unova Elite, and the wife of the great Looker, detective of the International Police.

"Michiru, come here and let's give our friend a break, ok," She beckoned to the little girl. "And say thank you to Ms. Caitlin for playing with you."

Little Michiru stood to help Cailtin up. "Thank you for playing Cops and Robbers with me, Ms. Caitlin."

"Oh, you are very welcome, Michiru," Caitlin says, rubbing the little girl's head. With that, the young Michiru was taken to the Garden by one of the family's many assistants, leaving Sachiko and Cailtin behind.

"She's growing up rather fast," Sachiko said, sitting down on the chair across from Cailtin who was now sitting on the couch. The head maid, Marie, entered the room holding a tray of the finest Earl Grey for Sachiko and a sweet Chamomile for Caitlin. The two took their respective cups, made a toast, and took their sips.

"So...Sachi," Cailtin took a deep breath. "About what we talked about last week? I don't know if I can take your place."

"You say that even though you are so adept at the rules of the Battle Frontier?" Sachiko smirks. "Surely that is just humbleness talking, Cailtin."

Caitlin looked down at her cup. "I appreciate your confidence in me, but you are t Sachiko. You are perhaps the best psychic-type user I know, not to mention that you helped Looker take down one of the main operational faculties of Team Plasma. And don't get me started on-" Sachiko puts a finger on Caitlin's lips.

"My accolades, be what they were, are not for comparison. You were the tender age of 14 when I watched your performance at the Battle Frontier. The way you oversaw all of Darach's battles like that. I knew you were the brains, not taking away for his own successes."

Sachiko walked over to the window overlooking the backyard garden of the Sangatsu-Looker Mansion. There, Michiru is seen, interacting with the Pokemon Partners of the maids and butlers from the mischievous Mismagius all the way down to the quiet Espeon. The scene brings a warm-hearted smile to Sachiko's face.

"Besides," she continued. "My greatest accomplishment is right outside the house. She wants to follow her father's footsteps. Although I know that Michiru can accomplish anything she sets her mind to..." Sachiko's voice trailed off as she moved away from the window. "She doesn't know of the dangers of being a Detective in this world. I saw them firsthand with her father."

Caitlin places a hand on her shoulder. "Michiru has the best people to guide her. You and Looker have done well with her. When that time comes, you're not going to let her down."

"Thank you, Caitlin, but I think you should take your own advice."

"What do you mean?"

Sachiko smirks and shows Caitlin a Love Ball. "Face me in a battle, and you'll know why."

Though a bit confused, Caitlin narrows her eyes at her confident best friend and takes her own Love Ball. "Very well, Sachiko. En guarde!"

Author's Note: Coming up next time...we'll see the casual battle that opened Michiru's eyes into becoming a trainer featuring a collaboration between the Librarian and her bestest friend in the whole world~. Stay tuned for all of this and more. This is Mila Sardonyx signing off for now.
