sitting in a tree hiding from a blonde who was starting to get frustrated trying to find his best friend, while the said girl was giggling away in a tree she was hiding in.

"come on y/nnnnn!! you always do this when we play hide and seek" he wines, the girl gives pity on him and floats down to the ground falling have way

"ow" she says standing up seeing she has a scrapped knee, laxus turn his head to see the girl now sitting on a log looking down at her knee not even crying just pouting at it.

"y/n! are you ok we need to get you back to the guild so you can get fixed- oh, ray's going to kill me!" he complains more talking about how he's going to die if you're not ok, the girl rolls her eyes taking a band-aid from her bag and placing it on her knee, standing up not even fazed by the knee but more worried about her best friend.

" can you calm down now, come on let's go back to the guild and get something to eat yea?" holding out her hand waiting for the boy to grab it, which he does grinning hearing the word food

"yea!"

"what's that one again?" the blond asks the girl staring up at the stars

"that's a big dipper one of my favorites what about you"

"I like the north" the girl hums

"simple but yet calming nice one" she smiles at him making the boy's cheeks a hint of red, he weirdly likes it when she speaks so wisely, but I guess that's the perks of being raised by the calmest and wisest man in the guild.

she suddenly sit up making the boy look at her wondering what she was getting up for all of a sudden.

"what's wrong?"

"just that....I've been thinking lately and...I think we should make the guild stronger than it is, I mean think about it, when we grow up we can fight side by side and show everyone how awesome fairy tail is, we can build it bigger and add more people so we can be an even bigger family!" she cheers looking at the boy for an answer but was met with a huge grin, making her grin as well, they didn't even share words instead they stood up and ran around the huge field laughing and cheering. when they collapse on the grass looking back up at the stars their chest going up and down from tiredness and mostly out of breath.

it was quiet for a few minutes none of them wanting to break the comforting silence when one still had to give an answer

"........... let's do it," he says quietly making the girl perk up at the answer he gave then sat up laxus following along

"ok let's make a promise to make it real" she hold out two rings, her father gave them to her them being attached to some strings since they were too big for the kids

"Woah cool" he takes the yellow one while she kept the (f/c) one, putting it on their necks. laxus puts his pinky out smiling at the girl

"Let pinky promise kay" she nods and lock pinky's, then letting go

"I promise"

"I promise"
