So after telling my mom what happened my mom looked at me like I lost my mind "Lilly hunny are you sure his parents didn't come to get him and you let your imagination run wild because this isn't the first time you've made up a crazy story for attention" she looks at me concerned while giving me ~the look~you all know the one that moms use whatever the situation may be "I swear mom he and I were playing and then all of a sudden these 2 guys came up and took him and it happened so fast I was so scared I couldn't move " I say as I frown so upset with myself because I wished I wasn't such a scaredy cat I could have helped him or tried but I was too scared to move until it was too late "ok Lilly whatever you say I swear you and your imagination will be the death of me" she says as she continues to make the brownies she was making "uhgg why can't you believe me ??" She looks at me and sighs "it's not that I don't believe you it's just that seems highly unlikely at this hour it's now 6:00pm and the suns out Lils " looks at her still concerned as she pulls out the brownies she was making. " but it's true!! Why would I lie??" I say feeling defeated. She sighs and looks outside then back to me " well you ran in 30 minutes ago if what you say is true they would be long gone by now" she says as she puts me back down on the floor. " now go to your room and get your stuff ready for the shower " she says . " but mom-" I say as I look to her hoping she may change her mind. "Don't but mom me now go I'm serious" she shakes her head as I head to my room wishing I could get my friend back...
