Emily: A little bird told me that Riley was having a hard time at the studio. I'm here to help my sister get back on track.
"What are you doing here? What about university? I mean, how did you know that I needed you?" Riley rambled.
"Zip it, sister." Emily cut her off, "I'm obviously here to help you focus on what's most important: getting A-Troupe to Regionals.
Riley fumbled nervously, "Yeah. It's just... Things are so complicated right now. I did a terrible thing."
Emily looked conflicted.
"I kissed another guy. Alfie. He's a prince. Not a prince as in, like, a great guy. No. He's, like, an actual prince. But that's not the point. The point is that I don't know what's happening with Jame. Our relationship is just a mess and I have no idea how to fix it and—"
"Hi." Emily waved her hand, "Uh, Ok. That is a lot of new information. You have more important things to focus on."
Emily: Riley should be talking about dance, dance dance. But all I'm hearing is boys, boys, boys.
"You're a little bit of a mess right now, so you need to give me the power to make some hard decisions. Whatever I say goes. Got it?" Emily demands.
"Whatever you say?" Riley questioned, skeptical.
"Yes or no, Riley?" Emily deadpans.
Riley nods, "Okay. Let's do it. Let's... let's do whatever it takes to get the studio to Regionals."
Emily agrees, "That is the right decision and I know you won't regret it."
"I hope not."
Riley: if I'm going to put my trust in anyone, it's going to be Emily. And besides, things couldn't get any worse, right?
