Normal P.O.V.
Steve gulped and started sweating. Of course, Tony gets put in his class. Why did the lord hate him? Tony broke eye contact, looking down at his phone in disinterest. Steve let out a sigh of relief that Tony hadn't decided to immediately pick on him...yet.
The students started to board the bus. Even though Steve was originally in the front of the line, he got shoved to the back as people pushed past him with no regard. By the time he made it onto the bus, most of the seats had been taken.
There was only one left - the seat right behind the teacher. He looked behind him and noticed Tony standing there, looking at him expectantly with a smirk, waiting for him to sit down. Steve paled and reluctantly sat down, scooching as close to the side of the bus as possible.
Tony sat down next to him and Steve swears he purposefully sat down closer to him than he needed to. Was this some kind of power move? Well, it was working. Steve was quietly freaking out.
There was no one to bail him out of the situation. Natasha was his only friend on the bus but she had no interest in rescuing him from her ex. Plus, she was in the very back of the bus, there was no way she could help.
Tony moved even closer to Steve but did not look his way. He was too busy chatting with some other students across the aisle. Steve tried to steady his breathing and not seem too intimidated, but he was severely failing.
He started to reach for his earbuds, hoping to listen to some music and be taken away from the embarrassing situation and possible bullying, but as he started to lean down to his backpack, the bus hit a bump in the road and his head smashed into the seat ahead of him, poking the teacher in the back.
Mr. Ross spun around and looked at them. He immediately scowled at Steve, even though Steve was hoping he might blame it on Tony, a notorious troublemaker. For some reason, Mr. Ross hated him, and he wasn't quite sure why, but he always took Tony's side.
"Did you just kick the back of my seat, Rogers?" He asked sternly and loud enough for the whole bus to hear.
Tony stifled a laugh as Steve's face went bright red. "I-I-It was an accident! I'm sorry!"
"Don't do it again." Mr. Ross only grunted and turned back around. Steve nodded frantically.
Tony was still snickering next to him, his friends joining in too. Steve grumbled and hurriedly grabbed his earbuds and shoved them into his ears, hoping to drown out the laughter.
Steve defiantly looked out the window for about half an hour but he quickly got bored. He grabbed his sketch pad out of his bag and started sketching some trees he saw pass. He had a pretty photographic memory so he didn't really need to look at it, plus this way he had more creative freedom.
After a little while, Tony glanced over at him and noticed the drawing. "Ooh, what's that?" He snatched it out of his hands and held it away from him.
"Hey!"
"Hold on, let me see." Tony stared at it while he held it out in the middle of the aisle. "Trees? Way to be boring." He took the page out, crumpled it up, and threw it to the very back of the bus, behind all the seats.
"What the hell, man?!" He said just a little too loud and Mr. Ross turned around again.
"Mr. Rogers!"
He froze and nervously looked up at him. "Y-Yes, sir?"
"Seriously, why are you disrupting this trip with your antics? I don't want to hear another peep out of you the rest of the trip. Understood?"
