Ch. 17: Face to Face with Jack O'Lantern

The others make it to the pumpkin patch. They walk around. Irwin says, "Where are they, yo? This pumpkin patch is huge." Mandy says, "We're gonna have to look every spot, no matter what. I'm saving my best female friend. You hear me right. Best female friend." 

They hear this, "Awe. Well, isn't that sweet?" They turn around and there he is. Jack O'Lantern. He smirks. Grim says, "Jack O'Lantern. I should've known you'd return. And how? Tricking others where you were to get back up here?" 

Jack grins and says, "Correct, Grim ol' boy. I came back up to pull pranks on people once again. But now that I've seen (Y/N)... I've got new plans." Mandy squints her eyes and says, "You better let her go, Jack. You'll be goddamn sorry you ever abducted her in the first place. I'll show my old self again." 

Junior says, "That's my girlfriend Jack. Give her back." Jack says, "Awe, want her back? You'll all have to face me to get her back. But here she is." He steps aside and there you are. Tied to a tree. You're still in the robe and it's barely covering you since you're still in your bra and underwear. Junior growls. Jack laughs.

You open your eyes and you see the others. You gasp as you seen Junior and you yell, "Junior!" He says, "(Y/N), hang on babe!" He tries to run to you, but Jack blocks him. He chuckles. Junior growls and grows some tendrils from his back. Jack laughs and says, "You think your tentacles are gonna help save your girlfriend and put a stop to ME? Ha! That's a laugh." 

Junior says, "Jack... Last warning. I won't fucking hesitate to strangle you with these if you so much as lay a filthy hand on my woman." Jack smirks and steps back saying, "You mean like... this?" He puts a hand on your side and he chuckles. You gasp and you say, "G-get away!" 

Jack says, "Forget the others. Perhaps maybe YOU would rather face me yourself, Junior. This is your woman I'm about to take from you after all." Junior grows two more eyes and he looks angry. Tendrils are going wild at this point as if he's ready to strike. 

Nergal appears. Jack says, "Ah, Nergal. Old friend. How are you?" Nergal says, "Get away from my son's girl, Jack. I'll step in." Grim readies his scythe and says, "All of us." Mandy grits her teeth. Irwin looks angry too. 

And surprise... Billy as well. Sure, he's been angry at times like when he smashed those acid yolk eggs... but this time he looks determined and ready. In a more serious voice he says, "That's my friend, Jack. Get back." 

They come face to face with Jack. They start fighting him off. Grim gets to him, but Jack sees the scythe and he smirks. He knocks Grim down and he takes the scythe. He laughs and he says, "Now I've got the scythe, Grim my friend. The power belongs to me, now! I'll pull the biggest, sickest prank on all of you and keep (Y/N) to myself!" He grins and chuckles darkly.

They try to attack him, but he blocks them with the scythe. They gasp. He turns to face you and he smirks. He approaches you and he cups your chin. You try to back away as much as you can, but to no avail since you're tied to a dead tree.

Jack says, "Tell me, (Y/N). How was it with Junior boy, huh? Oh, how I now wish I could've been in his shoes. Anything to have YOU near me. Feel you up, myself. Thrust myself into you. God, you're the hottest thing I've seen in all of my years, decades, centuries and so on being around. I could take you right now while you're tied to this tree. Make you scream and moan for me.~" 

You say, "Oh, eat a dick." He says, "Now now. That's no way to talk to a friend, my dear." You groan and you look away. He leans in and he whispers, "You dance so good, too. Junior's got a good taste in women~" 

Junior yells, "Get away from her!!" He wraps a tentacle around Jack's waist and lifts him. Jack laughs and says, "What are you gonna do, huh Junior?!" Nergal says, "Get back to pulling your pranks, Jack! Leave that girl alone!" 

Jack laughs and he uses his power to lift the scythe from the ground. He uses it to cut a hole in the sky to let some evil spirits free. Then he uses it to off Junior's tentacle lifting him. Junior screams, "Ahh, fuck!!" as the tendril has been cut off. Nergal yells, "Junior!" The other gasp. 

You yell, "Baby, no!" Junior pants and sucks the other tendrils in. He grabs the one that's been cut off from the middle. He hisses and says, "F-fuck." You sigh and you say, "Junior." Junior's cut tendril is bleeding and he groans in pain. Nergal brings him close and says, "Son!" 

Billy says, "You. Hurt. My... COUSIN!!" They all attack. Jack swings the scythe towards them. They all get knocked down, but the blade ends up hitting one of them across the chest as they fall. It's not Junior, either.

Junior actually managed to sneak passed him and he gets the red feather from Jack's hat. He knew what to do to get rid of him. He uses it to tickle him and Jack laughs. He floats in the air and he ends up flying up to the sky and into the hole he opened up. The evil spirits fly back up there and the hole closes up.

Now Jack is trapped in the hole he opened up with the scythe. Grim retrieves his scythe and he says, "There. Now let's see that he stays." Mandy says, "Good riddance." She walks over to you and gets a knife out. 

She cuts the ropes and you smile. You hug her and she hugs you back. You say, "Thank you guys." Mandy says, "Yeah. Come on." She brings you over. Irwin says, "Hey. Where's Billy, yo?" You say, "Hey yeah." Grim says, "Billy?" You all look around. Nergal says, "Nephew?" 

You all suddenly spot him and you gasp. You say, "Oh... god." There's Billy. Laying on the ground. Big cut across his chest and bleeding out. He's knocked out. You all yell, "BILLY!!" You run to him. You gasp and you put your hand up to your mouth. Grim sighs and says, "Oh no." 

Mandy ducks down and says, "No... Billy no! No!!" She hits the ground with her fist and she yells, "Fuck! Dammit!!" For the first time in her life... Mandy is shown with tears in her eyes. You, Junior and Irwin as well. 

Junior comes over and grabs Billy saying, "Billy! Billy get up damn you!! BILLY!!" He grits his teeth. He holds Billy close and he sobs. Nergal has a sad expression and so does Grim. Even for being the grim reaper, himself. He did stick around Billy and Mandy for a long time. Irwin says, "Why? Why him, yo?! He didn't deserve this!" Grim says, "Get him to the hospital." You all grab Billy and you head for the hospital.
