There was once a happy family
Which liked to love, laugh and play
Born in it was a beautiful boy
But unfortunately for them he was "gay"
It is my own family, they will understand
Believing this he went and confessed
Instead of understanding they tortured him
With a sweet curse he was blessed
At first they did not believe him
And took it as a joke
They laughed and said it was funny
But his hurt feelings did it provoke
He told them again and again
Finally they understood
They told him they would support
But hid their plan under the hood
They told him, they had some work
And took him to the hospital
He agreed and went with his parents
Unaware of the plan, illogical
They strapped him to the bed
And gave him shock waves
Parents stood outside, waiting
Disgusted with what the son craves
After the torturous treatment
He obviously didn't turn straight
But the ignorant parents
Weren't ready to accept his fate
He told them
It won't work
But no more
Did their thoughts lurk
Voodoo, saints, medicine and priests
There was nothing left to try
They had now prepared their minds
That it was time to say goodbye
They tried to kill their child
But by God's grace he was saved
There was nothing he could do to change their sick minds
But he still tried and behaved
After the family's torture
People's comments didn't go in vain
He was already broken
They somehow broke him again
People broke and ruined him
What was his fault
Was being gay really a crime
That his burned wounds were rubbed by salt
Don't people understand
That he is no one's toy
No one gets the right to break him
He is just an Innocent Gay Boy.
