Fell in love with the nightmare

Bewitched in love

​People danced in joy, music pulsated inside my heart drumming with beautiful sounds, as all the villagers and my students started mingling with each other, we didn't knew there was a festival in this village so the villagers asked us to join them in their joyous festival. The festival was teaming with exciting boots and bright lights, we walked through the crowd as joyful laughter filled the air. I wasn't only happy outside but also inside not because of the festival but mainly because of my students getting along with me for the first time, not everyone was ready for my changes but few really appreciated me for being who I am. I wanted some time alone to process everything that had been happening so, I went a bit far from the crowd and set beside a beautiful cherry blossom tree, it was almost dark and the villagers said that fireworks were going to start soon so I seated there quietly to see the fireworks from far away from the crowd. In a distance I noticed a figure among the flowers, I quietly made my way right behind him only to find the nerdy guy throwing pebbles in the lake, he looked beautiful under the moonlight, his features shimmering with a different aura, I found myself staring at him and he turned to see me, I was flustered as I was found staring at him. When he started teasing me I couldn't help but giggle on his teasing, these small gestures really made my heart flutter once again after a very long time, whatever the reasons were I couldn't possibly fall for him, as he was my student the society differences reminded me of my place. I didn't knew whether I was thinking too much, but I kept my guard up, he then asked me to sit beside him and watch the fireworks, I stole few minutes before sitting, when I made up my mind I seated beside him and in the meantime explosions of colour and sparkles lightened up the sky far ahead making us fell in love with the universe again, I teared my gaze away from the colourful sky to look at him, to my surprise, he was already focused his attention on me. Blue night sky swayed in the breeze, the moon seemed to perk us up slightly, I saw mixed emotion in his deep blue eyes making me avert my gaze on other side of the lake and I stood up walking away before my emotion got over me of feeling the wind of love again....

I came back from where the festival was occuring, and stood infront of the cottage, a chilly breeze blew by as my thoughts got the better of me, maybe I was thinking too much, I might've been embarrassed to find myself in that state where I was staring at my student for no reason, to forget the occurred events of the night, I went to bed early, skipping dinner.

Next morning, I woke up to find the nerdy guy sleeping outside my room, I woke him up and asked him "why are you sleeping here?, Why didn't you slept in your room?, Did you spent whole night here, in this cold? Before I could ask further he started laughing teasingly, he said, "if you ask me so many questions together how'll I even manage to remember them, you're making such a fuss on an useless topic in the early morning, go get some sleep and let me sleep for a while more." It was my turn to laugh, I told him " it's afternoon now you nerd, can't you see the sun is above our head? It's been only few days since we came here, and you've already forgot all the lessons I gave? You gotta get another lesson now" the nerdy guy was horrified on the mention of lesson, and immediately got up and said "we're not even in our world, then why will you give lessons here? Or is it that you want to spend your time alone with me?" My cheeks turned red on his question and I changed the topic as we headed to join other students and the villagers having breakfast, soon after finishing breakfast Gogo asked me to go with him in the woods, he had something important to discuss, I followed him throughout the woods, soon when he made sure that no one was around, he apologized to me, and said he was very guilty about his past actions, even he seated in his bare knees and apologized for insulting me and hurting me in the past, I grabbed his shoulder and made him stand to look at me in my eyes, I told him that I was no longer sad or angry on him because of his actions, as he accepted me and my flaws, I was very happy that he finally understood what I felt, there were no hard feelings in between us anymore and this time I was fully determined to be his friend. After clarifying everything we went back to the village and greeted everyone with genuine smiles, and we announce that everything was fine and specially I specially apologized to everyone for being so hard on them. With a very cheerful atmosphere I saw everyone giggling with big smiles and happy laughters.

Soon the sun came down from our head, and painted a very beautiful sunset in the view, part of me was very happy after getting to be friends with my students, but also another part of me missed home, I then started feeling lonely, as I turned to look at a very cute couple in the village walking hand in hand they looked happy together, I was looking at my hand, it was empty and for some reason I saw my loneliness getting over me. All of a sudden a face came into my mind, it was none other than the nerdy guy's, I shook myself from the reverie, I didn't wanted to fall in love with him but for no reason again and again my mind body everything somehow finds it's way to him. I knew about the consequences that we might face in the future, keeping that in my mind I couldn't possibly have fallen for him. I know that we're never gonna be together but still I couldn't hold back anymore, I was suffocating myself by keeping those feelings all by myself but no more, I finally made the decision of confessing my feelings to him. I knew if I kept thinking about what society was going to think about us I will never be able to be happy, and even if it was for a bit I still wanted to show him how much I love him since the very day I met him. I Immediately went to find him, but I couldn't find him anywhere, so I asked the villagers whether they saw him, they told me to go to the waterfall, as he went there. When I reached near the waterfall I saw him setting on a rock lost in thought, a big smile spead on my face when I saw him, I called him aloud, "oiii! Nerd, look my way" he threw me a smile that would brighten the gloomiest day of mine. I couldn't hold back anymore as I rushed to take him in an everlasting embrace, he was stunned at my action, as tears started falling from my eyes, I took a deep breath and summoned every ounce of bravery within me, my cheeks heated as I confessed my feelings and looked him in the eye, he scooped me up in his arms and pressed his lips to mine, he held me close as if afraid that I would fall, I was enveloped in his scent of rosewood, sweet and beautiful all at once. I didn't had the courage to admit it before, but I know it and knew it that I love him and loved him. But soon I backed away as he said nothing in response, tears begin to fall from my eyes down to my cheeks, for the first time in my life I felt like my decision was stupid, but before I could run away he took my hand in his, and he promised to be a better person than the day before, for me. I leaned my head against his shoulder, listening to his steady heartbeat, he looked like an angel from up close, his features were sharp, a flush creeped on my cheeks as I shook him, even his hair looked beautiful as the sunset painted him with Scarlet light, I have seen him grow since since the very day we met, he used to be unbearable, egotistical and prideful, he has changed so much now, his words bring smile on my face because behind them, I know he cares. We spent our evening nearby the waterfall watching the sun go down as we both fell in love with each other again, making jokes and giggling, hand in hand, we were finally together after long waited lonely nights, we were finally together and forever.

That night when we went back to the village, my students were amazed when they looked our way, few were shocked and few knew about us, Gogo came out of nowhere and started teasing the nerdy guy, he then, shushed Gogo away as we entered the cottage together, as I was going to sleep, he stopped me from doing so and asked me if he could love me the way he wanted, I smiled at him as we made love under the moon as our witness, I was lost in the whirlpool of his love. Finally, when we were about to say goodnight to each other, a very loud explosion caught us off guard, we immediately headed out of our cottage to see......
